Ovulation or something negative

Hi, i am looking for advice, TTC #1, this morning when hubby and i got out of bed i stood up and clear, odourless liquid started running down my leg (sorry TMI). It isn't EWCM but i dont seem to get that to any obvious degree, i just always seem to have more of this watery fluid.... I also have some discomfort where i believe my ovary is. According to dates etc this weekend and early part of this week is when Ov is due to happen. I also took and OPK test yesterday and it seemed to be positive. What i am wondering is if this is a sign of Ov or if this could be a burst cyst or something else negative? Any help / advice / experience sharing is most welcome!!

if you're trying to get pregnant i've assumed you're having unprotected sex so if he ejaculates into you it's probably just some of that running back out after your nights sleep and i believe typically ewcm is more jelly-like After ejaculation semen keeps the same consistency for up to about half an hour and then it separates, with part of it becoming much more watery, i'd imagine this is what you experienced - i have and that's what i thought it was. Your pain may be a sign of ovulation and as it was indicated also by the positive ov test but f you are worried see a health care professional.

hi Dixie, thanks for the answer. I had considered your suggestion of what it may be, although we had dtd in the afternoon - would it take that long for it to be that coming back out? (why it TTC so gross haha). Think we will keep trying this month and monitor it, but i agree that in terms of timings etc it seems we are aiming for the right time if nothing else!!
