Implatation bleeding or impending monthly????

I'm about 12dpo and since about 8dpo, I've had brown mucus when going to the toilet, on and off.
Anyone had the same? What is it?

I had brown discharge at 6 weeks for about 10 days and again at 10 weeks. The doctor said it could be due to a dip in hormones when your period is due so this could be the case for you. It is very worrying at the time, but all was fine for me in the end.

When can you do a test?

I'm due on this Tuesday. Have been testing with the early detection tests, but negative so far.
