So sorry to hear the MrsBeeBeeBee Thanks

Treaclepie19 · 15/07/2014 23:09

Af is on the way out so planning on dtd tomorrow.
We nearly left it a month or two. Only really because of money and the fact I'm scared of another miscarriage.

Hey Ho. I just really have my fingers crossed for this month.

Gemcon · 15/07/2014 23:58

Please can I join I am ttc #1, 33, cycle 2. Hopefully I shall be testing in the first week of august! Think I am ovulating this weekend!!

lp2014 · 16/07/2014 07:09

Hi gem, welcome! Xx

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/07/2014 07:57

Treacle I have my fingers firmly crossed especially for you. I completely understand how you feel but try to have faith and keep calm. Thanks

Pikz · 16/07/2014 10:54

Definitely ov early here at cd12 so will be a very short month for me, in fact might scape on the July bus which is very odd after 30 day plus cycles. Maybe it's my body sorting itself after 7 months off the pill.

Have booked some reflexology to help me chill about it all a bit.

Am crossing everything for lots of positive news from this bus. Sorry to see lots of people joining from previous ones Hmm

Aprilray · 16/07/2014 11:08

Likewise GrandHighWitch, really pleased that you decided to hop on the bus, hopefully it will be third cycle lucky for you.

lp lovely to see you too!

MrsBeeBeeBee I remember you getting your BFP and am so so sorry to hear about your miscarriage Thanks Hopefully your tests turn negative very soon.

Welcome Gemcon Smile

AF is on her way out here too - woo woo!

TheGrandHighWitch · 16/07/2014 12:38

I hope so too Aprilray for us both. Although af was longer and heavier than usual for me so am wondering if maybe I had a cp last month which would explain the odd tests I had. Am on cd11 today and still showing 'low' on the monitor so don't expect ov until about cd18 or so. I am signed up for the clearblue study but won't get the stuff until a few days before af is due so won't be able to use it this cycle. The study is part of the reason I am still on the busses as it seemed a waste to not take advantage of the opportunity. I am going to try my hardest not to symptom spot after ov though.

Aprilray · 16/07/2014 13:17

Hopefully you won't be using it because you have a BFP.
It is so hard not to symptom spot, I found myself still doing it even after AF had arrived?! Like you I am going to try my hardest not to this month and absolutely no googling. Have got myself a yoga DVD to help me relax, determined to be more laid back this month - I turned into a monster towards the end of my last 2ww!

TheGrandHighWitch · 16/07/2014 13:45

Ooh I do enjoy yoga. I used to go to a brilliant class at the gym local to me but since I was only going for that class it wasn't cost effective for the membership fee so I cancelled it. I do have a dvd for pre-natal pilates (this one) but can't work out if it's bad that it is left over from being pg with dc2 and hasn't ever been used or good that I haven't bought it in anticipation of being pg with dc3! Grin

I refuse to allow myself to monitor anything after I ov except for my temp so hopefully that should help control the manic symptom spotter that takes over.

xBlueberry88x · 16/07/2014 14:12

dragging myself on to this bus feeling very blue indeed.

xBlueberry88x Age 26 ttc 1 cycle 16 bfp due august 12th

ChandlersFarang · 16/07/2014 17:16

Welcome xBluex!! You have to keep your chin up - you must be super strong to have kept going. It will happen for you!! Have you got some good investigative medical care going on now?

My PCOS was 100% confirmed last week (as of this week am on metformin and Femara to kickstart some ovary action), and then lo and behold, today we discover DH has low mobility sperm. Boom boom!! Charming. Just glad we picked all this up so early - I only came off the pill in December assuming it'd be the one shag and straight to babysville.... My general 'who struggles' preconceptions now comprehensively shattered - we are both young, super fit and healthy, big gym/yoga goers, he runs marathons, etc. Am still feeling positive about everything though - both on account of our good medical care, and thinking rationally with the facts/stats in front of me. Definitely not mission impossible!!

Plus - thank god we were born when we were, with medicine as advanced and capable as it is these days... or else we'd be getting A LOT of pets in right now... lol!!! GrinGrin A big shout out to science!!!!! WinkGrin

TheGrandHighWitch · 16/07/2014 17:22

So sorry to see you having to join the bus xBlueberry88x. And sorry you've been hit with a double whammy ChandlersFarang. The good news for you though (if it helps) is that both my dc were conceived via clomid as I was anovulatory and my husband has low motility and yet here I am 2 dc later so there is definitely hope for you and others struggling.

catnip85 · 16/07/2014 17:27

Hi ladies, im due to POAS next week for the first time. Must admit im a little nervous! AF due on monday- when is the best time to test?

ChandlersFarang · 16/07/2014 17:28

Love that good news GrandHigh, thanks so much! It's all the success stories like this that remind me it will happen. Any medical assistance TTC DC3..? X x

TheGrandHighWitch · 16/07/2014 17:41

Not technically although I did take a leftover pack of clomid from dc2 which was a year out of date. If I want to go down that route again I think I have to go through the tests and probably a 6 month 'wait and see what happens on your own' approach as they are new doctors since I moved area. In the meantime I still have my clearblue monitor and ovulation microscope. I am also taking a standard multivitamin and 1000mg of evening primrose oil every day and have ordered some conceive plus (not the applicator one though). I plan to take cough medicine around ovulation too (as I seem to have ovulated for the last two months) but will buy a new one as the lemsip all in one is vile beyond belief.

lp2014 · 16/07/2014 17:45

Hi everyone!

Chandlers- i am sorry to hear that but like you say there is so much help available, we are lucky with so many options today. Really wish you all the best

xx

lp2014 · 16/07/2014 17:48

I am thinking about sitting august out. I started a new job and i am still on probation. If i wait til after next af to ttc i will be past my probation by the time i would have to tell work then they couldn't take it into consideration when deciding if i should get the salary increase i am meant to get after six months. Although didn't care about it last month. Maybe i am just getting nervous.

cinnamongreyhound · 16/07/2014 20:01

Sorry you are feeling blue xBlueberry88x, fx this is your month!!

My fingers are firmly crossed for you Treaclepie19! We'll keep you positive!

That sucks ChandlersFarang but you're right there's lots that can be done.

Probably best to wait until Tuesday with fmu catnip85.

It's so hard to find the right time lp2014! I'm a childminder and am trying to figure the best time with the kids I mind and ds2 but you never know what's going to happen. It does seems sensible to wait for your probabation to be up but we're not always sensible. Is the payrise one that is really worth having?

I'm cd13 today and pretty sure I'm ovulating today. We dtd yesterday am and will again tonight. Hope everyone else is well and feeling positive :)

ProbablyMe · 16/07/2014 20:38

Hello!

Hope I'm on the right bus!? I'm having my Nexplanon implant out tomorrow morning and have been advised that I should be fertile right away (hope so anyway). DP works away during the week so my hopes aren't very high but I'm rolling my sleeves up and ready to give it our best shot! TTC #5 - #1 with my DP (I have 17, 15, 13 and 11 year old sons and DP has 9 and 7 year old daughters).

ProbablyMe - 39 (40 next month Shock ) TTC #5 1st cycle BFP due unknown!

BitchPeas · 16/07/2014 20:44

Sorry about the double whammy ChandlersFarang Fx it all goes smoothly for you now you know what you are dealing with.

Sorry you're feeling crappy xblueberry Wine for you and Fx for this month.

I know what you mean lp it would be better for us financially to wait til October, but the way I look at it is there is no guarantee you will get pregnant 1st, 2nd 8th or 15th time trying and if I did have problems id kick myself for not trying sooner. Having said that, if the Payrise will make your life a lot easier then I'd wait another month.......easier said than done though!

So I'm on CD4 and AF has just finished.

TTC officially starts today, and I'm terrified!! But really really excited Grin

Treaclepie19 · 16/07/2014 20:57

Thank you ladies :)

lp, ive decided there is always something to worry about. I stressed about money as soon as finding out I was pregnant and then miscarried.

However if you do think it would affect work then that's different.

lp2014 · 16/07/2014 20:57

Thanks girls! The rise would be 2k a year

lp2014 · 16/07/2014 20:58

You're right Treacle, there will always be something to think about. X

Pikz · 16/07/2014 21:11

LP I always got told there was no good time to get preggers and it so true. Always something.
