It's my first cycle trying for number 3 - and I have tendency to get a bit obsessive about it!
I've got a CBFM on the go and I'm on the run up to ov'ing (I hope).

Bluesky, glad to hear it's not just my DH. Although I slipped up a bit yesterday - I knew it was probably the day of ovulation, and I was trying to persuade him to leave his lunch preparations so we could DTD while there was a spare moment (busy weekend!).

As we headed upstairs he made a plaintive comment about his scrambled eggs, saying "but my egg must be ready now" to which I replied without thinking "well mine definitely is".

Haha Misty that's really funny. Did he notice what you were saying with that comment? I never give my DH enough credit for noticing stuff like that!

I've decided to try temping this month, I wasn't planning on doing it until next month but I've just upgraded my fertility friend account and it seems a shame to waste the charting. When I'm at work I work very very strange, irregular shifts, does anyone think there's actually any point in me even trying to temp?

Bluesky, for temping to truly give you an accurate result you need to take your temp at the same time everyday. If you can't it may give some weird results. But it could give you an idea at least. Good luck!

Aargh! I can't test for another 5 days at least and it's driving me mad!

I don't feel like this is our month though, so am not holding out much hope. Every time I go to the loo I'm praying for a bit of spotting that might be implantation, even though I know it's way too early for that (4 dpo at the moment).

Is anyone else going crazy in the 2WW?

AF arrived this morning, just a day early. My average cycle is now 23 days. It seems too short to get my womb all nice and cosy enough before ov. Anyway August we won't be ttc properly, no chance dtd over fertile days, so I'm dumping opk and just shagging when we can. I'm here to cheer you ladies on and celebrate all the BFPs that are due!

Bluesky, yes, I think he noticed - to be honest, I had to abandon subtlety anyway. He was knackered after 4 hours of playing golf in the sunshine, and I basically had to order him upstairs. I think he would happily have had a nap instead. But luckily he was able to pretend he hadn't heard, so we are all set for the dreaded two week wait.

It's now 1 DPO and already the urge to pee on sticks is very difficult to resist, especially as I have a new batch of 30 tests that have just arrived. But 1DPO is too early even for me. Hoping to hold out until at least 12 DPO before testing (but I bet I cave before - thank goodness for internet cheapies).

Misty I'm impressed you're planning to hold out until 12dpo.

Last month I promised myself I would never take a test again before AF was late, and I actually managed it last month (so never tested) but this month I'm already planning when I can pee on a stick again! I'm going to try to hold out until 10dpo but then I'm scared if it was positive that it might be chemical and I'd get AF on cue anyway.

Must. Stop. Obsessing.

Have rather written this month off but thought I'd keep posting, DTD twice I think & now CD15! I also a realised ideally thinking about dates that a BFP this month would give me a due date inbetween my two girls birthdays so would have three in a month!

Could someone explain the signs of ovulation to me?

Hi! Lurking still fully expecting to make the jump onto this bus for cycle 10 :( any minute . No sign of blood yet since the odd bit on tp at 7 dpo and it's now 11 dpo ( got a super faint line yesterday but it's not the first time I've ended up with yet another bloody chemical ). So many AF style cramps and back pain though that am not very hopeful .

Fingers are well and truly crossed for you Nordic!

I'm just waiting for af now. Pretty sure I haven't ovulated this month which will put me on the September bus.

CD2 here and I'm already starting to obsess about when I can POAS.

I get stabbing pains in one side or other toobreathless and an increase of discharge which is like egg white (hence egg white cervical mucus/ewcm). Others take temps and I think it's a dip in temp that indicates ovulation but I'm not very experienced in that or you can try ovulation predication kits/opk where you get the test line darker than control when you are ovulating.

Dh really wanted me to poas this morning so I did and got bfn :( I was feeling quite optimistic but now I'm just down. I've been nauseous but was last month and put it down to tiredness then and now too as I've been working a few late nights. My boobs hurt which they didn't last month but now starting to think that's in my mind too. 12dpo today

I am 10/11dpo and think body is gearing up for AF. Luckily I get a 2nd go in august. Took an ic yesterday and got an evap but that was it. Saving my frer for Friday if AF hasn't arrived by then.

Hi ladies will read back tonight but wanted to let u know I've got a hcg blood test booked for wed as still bfn and boobs have now stopped hurting after 2 weeks of pain which is a new one

cd13 here and think my body is gearing up to ovulate but don't know for sure as this is my 2nd cycle after stopping bc, last months lasted 32 days. Had a temp dip yesterday and back to normal today plus got a few stabbing pains going on so fx, have been dtd every other day this month so hopefully that's enough. I don't use opks as dh doesn't want us getting stressed over it, might sneak a few cheap ones in though!

CD16 here and still getting low readings from my monitor (got a high on this CD last month) starting to worry this is an anovulatory cycle.

DH has to be at a meeting first thing in Scotland tomorrow and rather than going this evening he is going to get up at the crack of dawn so that we can DTD tonight. He is hopefully back on Thursday night so if there is going to be an egg hopefully it will wait until then. My temp was high this morning but that is probably due to all the booze I put away yesterday!
