I've been feeling very blah! I have missed all you ladies, but I have not been in the frame of mind to discusss TTC. x

My son is 11 , but acting like a hormonal teenager...Hmm 2 years too early may I add! Oh gosh it is truly exhausting!

I started a diet & fitness regime, as I have gained 7lbs since our wedding in October & I feel yuk! I have been doing 25 mins on my crosstrainer, & walking 25 mins in my local park, which has a nice grassy athelitic path, so there is less impact on my back. I hope to be down 10lbs in the next 4/5 weeks.

We booked our flights to Hungary, so will be departing on the 21st Sept, so I may stop TTC, as I don't want to have MSickness when we are in Hungary, if I miraculously happen to get pregnant this month! Wouldn't it just be the one time! My DH thinks we should keep on trying, so I haven't quiet come to a decision. I am CD11 today.

I hope you are all well & I will read back now x

MrsExtraOrdinary · 24/07/2014 16:11

Laurano I feel your pain, I share my house with 5 boys inc my step son. 11-14 is fairly hideous. My eldest is 16 in October is remarkably lovely after the years of rubbish "Kevin" attitude.

Seraphina5291 · 24/07/2014 16:17

Hello to everyone, I am joining my first thread and looking forward to getting to know you all.

My stats are:
Seraphina5291 TTC#1 Cycle 4 Age 31 BFP Due 8th August.

Hope I've done that correctly!

KittyVonCatsington · 24/07/2014 16:27

Natalie Just a couple of questions as your pink spotting has been over a wide range of days: have you just come off some form of birth control or have you been DTD around these days? Pink spotting is normally nothing to worry about and can be an indication of ovulation or implantation, but I'm not sure over that many days. Could just be your lining preparing itself.

laura hello sweetie. So sorry you have been having a rough time of it lately. You know you will be invoking the law of sod by booking those tickets and get your BFP, don't you?! Wink The exercise you've been doing will help your happy hormones take over too and I hope you start to feel better soon xxx

Hello Seraphina! Hope your journey is a very short one Grin

Natalie1989xo · 24/07/2014 16:51

Hi Kitty I came off cerazette pill end of June and was under the impression that you don't get a withdrawal bleed from a progestogen only pill. AF 4th July for 5 days.

We haven't been DTD on specific days as no idea about predicting ovulation. I don't think there is a direct link between DTD and the spotting.

I just have no idea about any of the stuff ypu guys seem expert on! Blush

It's not anything I have experienced before and have two sons already. I have just convinced myself it is abnormal and have been a bit concerned.

ChandlersFarang · 24/07/2014 16:54

Hi Seraphina! Your stats look just like mine... Except I turned 32 a couple of weeks ago! Good luck Smile

Laurano, kitty's right! You're risking invoking the law of the sod!!

Nat - welcome!! Just to note you might find the calendar apps aren't quite accurate for your cycle - there's a few things you can look out for each cycle to more accurately work it out! Sure you're aware of this but shout otherwise!

KittyVonCatsington · 24/07/2014 17:08

Definitely don't be worried Natalie - pink spotting does happen and doesn't mean anything sinister so don't panic! I don't have any experience coming off cerazette but just wanted to give you some reassurance. Your body is just getting back on track, I'm sure!

gennibugs · 24/07/2014 17:17

pokes head round corner....officially still on the July bus but couldn't help having a nose, esp since the July bus us quietening down.

Going to have a read and catch up on the gossip Grin but had to first say laurano I love Hungary and am very envious Smile

cinnamongreyhound · 24/07/2014 17:24

Hi TheDetective, just happened to find them huh?!? and Hi EnglishGirlReturned, glad you've ov.

Glad things are improving Treaclepie19! I recommend pessaries too but can totally understand why you don't want to.

Fantastic news ChandlersFarang!!

Yay for bfn MrsGingerbread!

Hi Seraphina5291!

My dss is 13 laurano81 and he has his moments but he does go back to his mum so we get a break! If he's left to sit on his phone or tablet he's no problem it when you want him to do something else that the problems come! My dug said we wouldn't stop just because of due date so I reckon you should carry on, though I understand why!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 24/07/2014 21:14

I'm supposed to be on a health kick and just ate a magnum Blush. Go on holiday (all inclusive - law of sod feel free to be invoked) in 6 weeks and need to lose 6lbs.... Aint going to happen while stuffing ice cream in my face!!

Glad your meds seem to be working chandlers Smile.

Hello to all the newbies, hope you're not travelling with us too long.... Think i'm now the longest standing active member of the buses. That sucks Sad

kurama · 24/07/2014 22:39

Welcome newbies. english that sucks! Ur def due a BFP soon. Still on cloud 9 here but I can feel the worry and upset trying to creep inConfused

HettyB · 24/07/2014 23:15

Hmmm well my temps are all over the place, I've not had a positive OPK at all (and the second line has all but disappeared), but CM is back to creamy and I've got sore boobs so whether I OVed or not I'm now in the dreaded 2WW!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 24/07/2014 23:19

Hope so Kurama!

Hope you get yours soon too, limbo must be shite! Bloody bodies! My mum never had a positive wee test when pregnant with me, so it does happen. Fx for you xx

toobreathless · 24/07/2014 23:42

Hello,

Can I join?

This will be DC3 (hopefully!) I have DD1 3.3 & DD2 16 months. Both conceived pretty much first month.

This time I am still breastfeeding DD2 though so so think it is going to take longer.

I had an unplanned ectopic pregnancy prior to DD1 and had my left tube removed so I get very anxious TTC.

Today is day 12 for me, we are DTD every other day and just seeing what happens as it worked for the other two....

MaMaPo · 25/07/2014 06:01

Welcome toobreathless and seraphina - and gennibugs too. too, I'm not surprised you're anxious -it would be anxious for anyone in your situation. I have everything crossed for you.

Colour me officially confused re my first attempt at tracking ovulation. CD15 here and no positive OPKs, I dunno what my temps mean and it's all irrelevant anyway as my husband and I are in the middle of a confusing and stressful time re: our sex life, so no chance of conceiving this month even if I have bloody ovulated. So fuck it all, I say!

So last time i posted I was off to see my GP for some test results - he heard I was starting TTC and thought we should just check on some stuff. Turns out I'm low in iron and vit D so on supplements now (in addition to folate, of course). Maybe it's coincidence but i have been feeling horrendously tired this week, so iron will be the culprit there. I'm on liquid iron which is HORRENDOUS to take. It better bloody work.

laura have fun in Hungary! Love that place.

ChandlersFarang · 25/07/2014 06:36

Morning MaMa! Good you're getting your health stuff ironed out - even if this cycle isn't a DTD fest the next one will be all ready for you!! Smile

Welcome newbies!! Fingers crossed (Fx) that your stay is short but enjoyable!! Grin

Just had my 'trigger' HCG injection so ovulating in next 36-48 hours. So nuts that they are able to make all this happen! Shagathon weekend coming up in Thailand!! Ha ha. Nurse told me that all 3 eggs I cooked up could well come out - if so I have a treble chance this cycle!!! ((And a teensy weensy chance of triplets...)). I believe the technical term is FUUUUCK!! GrinGrinGrin

KittyVonCatsington · 25/07/2014 07:07

Hetty Have you got a link to your chart? Creamy cm and sore boobs are signs progesterone has taken over because you have ovulated

English That bloody sucks big time-no one ever wants to be on these buses for long. You are getting closer to the stats where 95% of couples conceive within a year. You will be EnglishGirlSucceeds soon! Quick question, do you have any brothers or sisters and did your mum get positive pregnancy tests with them? It's just I got positive pregnancy tests no problem before. Still no AF. CD43 Sad

Welcome toobreathless!

Chandlers It's just typical that you wait ages for a bus and then three come along at once Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/07/2014 07:26

Oh chandlers triplets! Wow! Fx for you!

English don't despair you've been here a while. I'm sure I mentioned it at the beginning but for me I knew this would take a while this time around. Last time it was 2 years but 18 months post mc. So many conditions have to be perfect don't they. several months have gone by this time where I know the only problem has been we didn't dtd at the correct time. We work such chaotic hours it's difficult to get down to it. I set out at Christmas hopping for a spring baby, I'm still in with a chance.

I wrongly assumed it would be a fairly easy road last time, as it always had been for me up until that point. Hence joining the buses. It's not a competition to see who gets there first. It's about the support on the journey.

ChandlersFarang · 25/07/2014 07:29

Well said MrsE!!! Grin

Treaclepie19 · 25/07/2014 07:32

Ooo fingers crossed for you chandlers!

Sending hugs to English.

Ladies who have had thrush - have you used the intervaginal cream and has it worked?
I cannot use the pessary and would have to wait for the 2ww to be over to use the tablet version (10 more days).
It's still sore today but I only used the cream Tuesday night.

cinnamongreyhound · 25/07/2014 07:35

Hi toobreathless!

Sorry to hear you're having problems with dh MaMaPo and glad you're getting your body all ready for when you are ready to dtd :)

Yay for your 3 eggs ChandlersFarang!

Sorry you've been here so long EnglishGirlReturned :( I always think if I had got pregnant quicker first time around my ds1 would be a totally different child and not that I wouldn't have loved that child but he wouldn't be here.

cinnamongreyhound · 25/07/2014 07:37

Yes it does work treaclepie, not quite as well as pessary but insertion is pretty much the same as a pessary as you fill a plastic applicator, insert and then push plunger to empty applicator.

Treaclepie19 · 25/07/2014 07:45

I used it on Tuesday cinnamon but not sure how long it should take to work?

HettyB · 25/07/2014 08:01

Hi kitty, hopefully this should work...

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/515e0b

I'm trying not to read anything into the sore boobs, as I get them every month from about 10 days pre-AF. It has started earlier this month though - maybe I OVed earlier?

EnglishGirlsReturned · 25/07/2014 08:13

It's so bizarre that there's are mess that can do everything for you! Fx for you chandlers, sounds like your in with a very good shot this cycle! Happy shagging Wink

Thanks MrsE, I know it's not a race, but naively I thought I'd be well and truly upduffed by now. Never though that a year down the line I'd still be trying having suffered two miscarriages. But hey ho! Here I am. And when I do get my little bundle of loved it'll be well worth the wait and baby will be sooo loved!
