Hi everyone I've been ttc #1 for over 14 months now with no joy, I'm thinking it's time to visit my GP but not sure what to expect. Any advice would be much appreciated as I feel like giving up :'( x

Didn't want to read and run! We've been TTC for 16 months now. Just had 2 months off as it was getting too much. We went to our gp a few months ago. We got an appointment last month but it got cancelled. New appointment is tomorrow so I'll let you know what happens!

Hope you're ok, I totally understand what you're going through x

Hi luna, thanks it will be helpful to hear what they recommend. It helps to hear from people in the same situation. I will keep my fingers crossed for you x

Hi moon. I'm on 21 months and been through all the testing. There's a squad of us on the thread 'ttc 10months plus supporting and keeping positive. We're all either waiting for appointments, in the middle of appointments for testing or finished the testing and waiting for next steps. They're a lovely bunch and if you read back, you'll get loads of info as well as support as you approach appointments.

Hang in there! X

Hello, We've been trying for 18 months & nothing, this second baby. Had an appointment at the doctors today & everything is ok which is a relief. I've just started using Clearblue Ovulation detectors, the cheap one's just didn't work. It is very frustrating.

Hi m33r and I thought I had been at it a long time, I dnt no how you seem so sane lol i will look for that thread I could do with a few more people to talk to who understand :) x

Hi bobs76 glad to hear the docs gave you the all clear. I was thinking of using clearblue aswell. You will have to let me know how you like them x

Sane!?!! Only some days. First few days of tww so in better condition than usual but be under in illusion, we all go maaaad sometimes. I get rage; upset beyond belief; total indifference; sore heart; exhausted; bored; angry... Just crazy journey. I hope hope hope you don't get this far on your own journey and instead get your BFP.

I'm still hopeful... Today anyway...

Hope to see you on the other thread x

Hi moonbeam83, I'd tried the cheap supermarket own brand ovulation strips but they never told me when I was ovulating. It was only last month that I used Clearblue for the first time, on day 4 of testing I got a positive result but unfortunately I didn't conceive but I've still got enough tests to try again. The only thing I don't like about them is the fact you can't have a wee for 4 hours before testing but I'll keep using them every month. X
