Anyone else about to take the plunge and stop bc pills?

Ive read another thread with interest about ttc after the pill & saw that a couple of posters were about to stop their bc pills so thought a new thread might be in order!
Im getting married in August & currently finishing my last packet of Yasmin. Excited & nervous all at the same time!

As expected I had a negative test yesterday (a week after ovulating) and have vowed not to test again until next weekend when I'm due AF as read that hormones aren't even released until implantation from about day 8 after ovulation! I have noticed sore boobs, bloated, pain in right side and emotional/tired but this could be getting me ready for AF so the waiting continues!

Hiya wanttobe I ovulated on cd 16 too this month and also started POAS at cd 7 coz I didn't wanna miss it lol ... I'm 6dpo today and apart from having a stomach ache last night that felt like I'd eaten a chicken that had been down the back of a radiator for 6 months ive not had any symptoms to spot really.. Oh apart from a small increase in cm today so I was wondering and secretly hoping last nights episode was some sort of implantation taking place although I'm pretty sure it's a tad too early for that

Could maybe implanted kate think can happen 6-12dpo so you never know! When will u teat?

Well hoping ive got the willpower to wait until AF due on the 30th but what's the betting I cave in before that lol !!

I'm the same; not sure I'll hold out until Sunday to test but part of me just won't believe a negative result this early and I'll be doing more tests next week if AF doesn't arrive...just praying and fx that it's a positive test at some point soon!

Are you testing on Saturday lovebugs ? What dpo will you be then? I'm still getting dull cramps and backache.. Praying it's not the dreaded witch about to make a very early appearance :(

I will be when I get home! Have EWCM today... Didn't have it this early last cycle but cd7 would be way too early for ov! Just seeing it as good sign that I am fertile :) going to poas later

Stupid phone just lost what I had written! I'm on day 11 now so will be 14 on Sunday, hope to wait until then to test but we'll see how much patience I have! Feel quite bloated/like I've put on weight which isn't usual, a bit moody, boobs swollen but this could be AF on her way-hope not!

So I had the most vivid dream last night that I had tested and it was positive - first thing I did was jump out of bed and tested but BFN unfortunately! Felt disappointed but hubby was reassuring that I should see what happens with AF on Sunday and that there is only a 25% chance each month and it is our first so not to be too down about it if I get AF. Still hoping it will happen this month but realistically it's likely not to ??

Sorry to hear that lovebugs but your not out till AF is due and ive read a lot women simply don't or won't get a BFP until they are overdue... I don't feel pregnant at all so am not hopeful for this month but if I am out ive vowed not to put as much pressure on myself or dh next month... With my other dc's I know for a fact I didn't test until the day AF was due as I really wasn't aware of all these early tests etc and always went along with the idea that you had to wait until AF was late to test.... Those days are long gone obviously as I sit here counting down the dpo days

Not sure whether to test tomorrow if AF hasn't arrived or to wait until Monday!!! Decisions, decisions...

just saw - 14dpo tomorrow? Definitely test if no af; you can be pretty certain the result will be accurate at 14dpo

Yes 14 dpo tomorrow and usually I get AF like clockwork when on the mini pill so might just wait till Monday morning for the concentrated urine

Just tested as had another dream and wanted to use the first urine....BFP saying Pregnant on a boots digital test!!!!! can't quite believe it, DH looked a bit shocked but happy, I've had tears of joy and sadness as my mum isn't here to tell....But I'm so incredibly happy!

Thanks moomin and wanttobe! Cycle 1 so very surprised at the mo but we did try every tip on here such as preseed lube, ovulation kits, vitamins, exercise, laying down for 5 mins after etc and a few prayers in there too!
