Acupuncture- any experiences ?!

I have a 6 month old DD and although have had 3 cycles since having her I don't think I've ovulated.
I've been using OPK with no positive, I haven't had EWCM and have been TTC since my cycles have returned.
I stopped breast feeding 4 months ago, so that shouldn't be affecting things.
I feel straight away with my DD and it was VERY obvious when I was ovulating so am pretty sure I'm not at the mo.
I'm going to see an acupuncturist next week and wondered if any had any positives or negative experiences?

Hi. I have been TTC for two years. One MC after 6 months of ttc then 8 months later I decided to go for acupuncture. I was ov at the time though and had regular 28d cycles. I had my second session at time of ov and got pregnant that cycle. Unfortunately I mc'd again and now, 9 months later, I am injecting for IVF. My prognosis is not good though as I only had 3+2(tiny) follies so I am not expecting there to be any eggs to collect when the time comes. Anyway, my experience of acupuncture was positive and I am going to have some sessions during my IVF. Hope this helps!

I had it and got pregnant first month. She specialises in fertility acupuncture. I'd been trying for 6 months following a Missed miscarriage. I know it's not a long time but I'd always conceived very quickly. I wanted it to help me relax too. Had 3 sessions in one month and got my BFP. I don't know if it was down to that or it would've happened anyway. I like to think it was acupuncture. Definately worth a try for you!

Hi, Im starting on Wednesday and i have heard really positive things about it so am really excited! I am taking Femara too. I am hoping the combo works. Keep in touch about your experience!

I will Eddiethehorse. I start wed too so here hoping it works for us both. I'm not taking anything other than multi vits so fingers crossed. Haven't been to gp as I know they won't do anything as periods only returned at the end of March so they'll say it's too early.
Still- thought id try everything I can. Let me know how you get on!

Blondie Just had my acupuncture....wow...loved it.....If it dosnt help me get pregnant, I've found something incredible....but it will help! How was yours?

It went well thanks although not what I was expecting!
Def feel better after and slightly more relaxed so got next session tues. I'm the worlds biggest cynic but am willing to give anything a go. Must say I'm feeling much more positive about it all. Hoping it helps us both.glad you enjoyed it! I'm on CD9 today- where are you in your cycle?
