Also I think theres a part of ladies that just 'know' if something is wrong and I think I know deep down everything will be ok and there isnt anything to do about it until the scan anyway !!

steph1204 · 15/07/2014 11:44

I agree poppet and bears... The ttc thing was sometimes very difficult, and once you get your bfp, you're so happy but somes weeks later, you feel as awful as when you were worried about ttc... Vicious circle, isn't it?
FX for everyone waiting for a scan!

Don't feel sorry Tori, you didn't do anything wrong!
I felt very close to you because our ov days were the same and I can't stop thinking that what happened to you might happen to me, but it would just be mother nature... It's my first pregnancy and all these things (hormones, morning sickness, etc) worry me, but I can't do anything else than wait for my second scan...

poppet85 · 15/07/2014 14:11

No tori it was right of you to post and you've set an amazing example of coping . How are you now ?

Bearsinmotion · 15/07/2014 16:14

Second what steph said! It's also good to know how much support there is if things do go wrong. It's just this being in limbo until the first scan and not knowing. Roll on the 2nd trimester, things get much easier from then!

poppet85 · 15/07/2014 18:09

Ok ladies I've just had my booking appointment . The midwife was not concerned that I hadn't been sick , she wasn't concern about symptoms changing daily or that they've tailed of now (as that's what's meant to happen about now) so I am going to try not to worry and go with what the lady who sees pregnant ladies as living says ! So let's try and stop worrying !

LuluJakey1 · 15/07/2014 18:42

I've not had a lot of symptoms. Lots of wind! Bigger boobs- much to DH's delight- few days of MS, bit of constipation. Nothing terrible. And the bump is still unnoticeable when I'm dressed - am wearing loose summer dresses and long silky cardis. We still haven't told anyone except in-laws and my boss. But no doubt when we go back to work after the summer holidays break people will be able to tell- I will be 22 weeks then

kitkatkaty87 · 15/07/2014 19:14

I am happy to share my sickness with anyone... any takers?! Today I have resorted to bowls of ground coffee placed around the lounge to try and get rid of thesmell of whateverit is that smells and makes me sick in there!

poppet85 · 15/07/2014 20:23

Cant win can we !what a moaning bunch we are !

LuluJakey1 · 15/07/2014 20:35

I have almost bitten DH's head off and then come upstairs to cry. He was sitting chatting on and I was folding towels from the drier.

He started telling me about a site he had been on about miscarriage and how common it is- with examples of some of the accounts and how sad and upsetting he found it.

I could feel myself getting tense and a bit panicky and angry and I just snapped at him, had a real rant about how insensitive he is and came upstairs with the towels and had a cry.

He wasn't meaning to upset me, I know that, but I just got all panicky inside and didn't want to hear any of it. I am still annoyed and upset with him.

Cupcake92 · 15/07/2014 21:00

Bless u everyone!!
Hugs to u all!! Thanks

Took my kitten to the vet today ... Was told.... He's not 12 weeks the date of birth they gave me was wrong.... He is in fact 6 months old!! And he has so many fleas!!!!!!!!!!! The woman sold him to me with fleas :(

Cupcake irresponsible breeders make me so mad Angry when I got my kitten 'she' was meant to be Just over 12 weeks, turned out 'she' was actually a he! And he was closer to 8 weeks!

He was the loveliest cat in the whole world, he just followed me every where and came to bed with me, he hardly ever went outside and when he did he would onu be out for an hour at most but one day he went out and didn't come home and I found him run over SadSadSadSad broke my heart

LuluJakey1 · 15/07/2014 21:09

Don't worry cupcake, a bit of Frontline on him and spray round the house will sort it out. Ours get them and we just keep it under control with the Frontline ever couple of months.

DH has apologised and I have calmed down and we have had a hug and kiss. Happy days! I am so easily upset. Hope it wears off in the coming weeks.

Cupcake92 · 15/07/2014 21:31

Aaww no ducky that's so sad :( :( :( I had a rabbit once, called Rosie, took 5 years for a vet to finally tell us "she" was infact a "he"!!!!! So Rosie became Ross hahaa
Lulu the vet has given me some frontline to give him tomorrow and a big spray can to do the house. He said not to do him today as he's had all his vaccinations so got to make sure he's well from them first :)
Glad u n DH have made up lulu :)

Ooooo also lulu talking about getting easily upset..... I think I got a symptom today! Was watching hollyoaks and Maxine was in pain from the fall she had n she's like 22 weeks pregnant n kept holding her bump n I felt so sad for her I just cried!!!! I couldn't stop it ! I never cry at the TV!

Ducky23 · 15/07/2014 21:44

Hope you like him again lulu! Smile It must be very nice that he is interested though? although he probably doesn't realise when he is being unhelpful!

Cupcake hah that made me chuckle, my cat was called dolly and when I took him to the vets they gave me such funny looks! When they told me
I was like Blush
Hope you can get rid of your fleas quickly! Did your vet mention you have to re do the treatment and room sprays etc as they kill adults but not the babies, so when the babies hatch there will be more of the buggers Confused

Cupcake92 · 15/07/2014 22:09

Aw dolly is such a cute name!
And u should see the size of the spray he gave me! I'd have no trouble doing the house 4 times over! Those fleas will be gone!!

How's ur DH doing Ducky? N how are u both now?

Ducky23 · 15/07/2014 22:16

Well he gets a bit nasty now once he has had a drink. The funeral is on thurs so I'm just hoping things will improve after that Hmm

Maybe I can swap him for Lulu's DH Grin

LuluJakey1 · 15/07/2014 22:20

Ducky I just wish he would think before he speaks sometimes.
DH is interested in pregnancy to the point where he will be having sympathetic symptoms before long. He tells me I should expect aching round the hips soon as my ligaments stretch (or something like that) and I shouldn't worry because it's perfectly natural.

Oh bugger off DH! Go back to reading up on football and cricket.

LuluJakey1 · 15/07/2014 22:29

Ducky He has lots of plus points- never nasty, very affectionate, clever, caring and funny- but the talking would drive you potty and he can put his foot in it like no one I have ever met. He veers between being very astute and sensitive to being like a bull in a china shop and completely insensitive. Sometimes he starts to speak and my heart sinks because I can hear him digging himself a hole which he then invariably throws himself into once it's big enough.

And he is very untidy-pile of 8 books on hall table that he just adds to, found 5 T-shirts under his side of the bed, has had a shredder on the floor on his side of the bedroom for three months. Has not shredded anything and now walks around it because it is just sat there. I hoover round it in protest. Grr!

Disgusting habit of picking skin off round his finger nails. Yuck.

Wouldn't swop him though Grin

LuluJakey1 · 15/07/2014 22:42

He says I have forgotten to mention he is good looking and is good in bed.

And he farts a lot and is a bit on the big side at the moment- shirts too tight ( although he claims I have shrunk them in the wash).

Cupcake92 · 16/07/2014 02:43

Aw ducky I hope Thursday goes well :(

I will have to call in sick tomorrow (technically today) as has just woken up with a high temperature :( maybe what I've gots more than a on infection as DH came home from work n felt awful. Hmm.

Lulu ur DH sounds adorable. My DH can be caring but always expects extra back. Don't think he's fully grown up yet. Feel like i already have 2 children i have to force DH to take baths! How wrong is that!!! N his disgusting habits ... Farts NON STOP! N takes up nearly all of the bed! I've fallen out a few times. I'd love a separate single bed.
With my ex I don't remember hating sharing a bed, we used to fall asleep cuddling but DH will never allow that, not allowed to touch him once he's got comfy :(
