We have lasagne tonight, DH should be home in about half hour. So I'm going to watch hollyoaks with DS whilst he drinks his milk hehe :)

Well appointment with doc was v stressful and I actually had to argue with him in order to get him to give me a blood test. Basically he was convinced that I would get in such as state about the result, whatever it turned out to be, that I should have my dp with me. He TOLD me that if it's negative I will be 'devastated' and said I'd have to wait until I was back at home to see my own gp so that my DP can come with me. In the end he gave in and booked me in for a blood test tomorrow morning but told me that if I turn up without a good friend or my mum that he will refuse to do one!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a patronising man! I have got anxiety and depression but I'm not that bad! Also I'm 30 and he spoke to me like I was a child!
Ah well, at least I'll hopefully find out what my body is playing at tomorrow!

lilla that's awful I am not really a fan of gps . He should have been more sensitive and understanding not just assume he knows what's best for you . Hope you can have a nice chilled evening tonight

Men are so selfish, always about themselves. One thing I'd love is to be able to snuggle up on the sofa in the evenings watching tv, and have kisses, proper kisses not just a peck. I never get any of that :( me n DH haven't had a passionate kiss since we first met. I get no cuddles in bed either as he has to have his 'space'

Ducky Really hope things are better tonight with DH. Don't put up with any rubbish from him. You have a right to be treated respectfully and not be shouted at. Hope you are OK.
Lilla I have no clue what is happening with you. It is very strange. Hope tomorrow goes well. How long do you have to wait for the results?
To all those being sick, this too will pass. Feels like crap now but it does stop. My cousin had it for 16 weeks and it was so bad she had a bucket next to her at work and had to take it with her down corridors etc. It stopped overnight.
As for me, had awful pain this morning turned out to be trapped wind. Thank God there was no one in the loo at work. I have never had trapped wind like it. I was quite scared.
I am in bed. DH watching football downstairs and texting me.

Ducky I really hope you and your H work things out. If you do decide to separate for a while maybe it will be better for you and the baby. It sounds like he's got some issues he needs to work out re drinking before he's ready to be a dad. My mum left her horrible husband when my sisters were babies and she did a perfectly good job of bringing them up by herself. My sister has also just got rid of her alcoholic partner and is so much happier and enjoying bringing up her two little ones. We women don't need men, especially when they don't appreciate us and just cause us more stress.

Lulu I think I get the results the same day - so fx that I get some sort of answer tomorrow. If it's still a bfn with the blood test I guess I just didn't ov this month/AF forgot to come!

Hi girls, I've been staying away from the thread for a while but could really do with some support. DH is being such a nightmare! Neither of us has a huge sex drive and before ttc our usual was about once a week. When we started ttc we both agreed that for the first six months at least we'd just keep it low key with no opks, temperature tracking etc. So the only thing I've been doing is using an app to track my cycle.

I'm only on cycle 3 and it's been a bit weird after coming off the pill, cycle 1 was 37 days and cycle 2 was 32. So this month we've been dtd for quite a whole trying to make sure we get ov.

Getting him to dtd though is starting to be a real nightmare! He said he didn't feel like it over the weekend and we had a bit of an argument and he said that he hates all this 'must do it today' mentality and we agreed we'd keep it low key to begin with. I said we are keeping it low key but that doing it at the right time is just common sense and that if we stuck to our usual once a week it could take us years! He reluctantly agreed to dtd last night but it was basically him trying to get it over and done with as fast as possible. I don't really mind that, I quite like a quickie, but I just don't understand why he's being so difficult about it - if anything out of the two of us he was the one who was more eager to start ttc!

Grr ... So I'm not feeling too hopeful for this month but we'll see ... AF will be due for me sometime between 19th and 23rd I think.

And sorry just catching up on everyone else! lilia I really hope they work out what's going on with you today! cupcake I'll be joining you on the 2ww shortly! ducky sorry to hear about your problems with DH :-(

Ah me! Hope you can whip DH into shape once a week would take ages. I really don't think men understand all the TTC/pregnancy business and tbh I don't think they're bothered about it! Fingers crossed for you when you do test.

me I remember that feeling !! We up'ed dtd from twice a week to 4/5 times. Bless dh he was onboard but it did take a lot of effort . Are you using opks ? Help target it and he can have the rest of the month off ?!
