Hello! I came off the depo shot in 2012 (last shot sept 2012) after just 3 shots. Ever since I've had constant bleeding/spotting. I've had scans, bloods etc done and everything came back clear. I've had antibiotics for PID which seemed to work for one month then it started all over again. It doesn't stop unless I take pills from the doctor but then once I stop taking them it starts all over again. It's been 18 months now and I'm starting to lose the will! Last cycle it wouldn't go away and it was just after the antibiotics. My gynae told me to get a course of progesterone pills from my doctor. Oh damn, sorry it submitted it halfway through!!

Ok, so, this is my first proper cycle on the progesterone pills as I started halfway through my last cycle so I thought it would be a normal cycle. I got one of those clearblue dual hormone ovulation kits yesterday so thought I'd take a test (cd12) but it came back low fertility. I would have thought I would at least be in my fertile window? I was using cheap opks before that and didn't even get a second line at all. I'm now wondering if these tablets have stopped me ovulating? The doctor said they weren't a birth control so would need to use protection if didn't want to get pregnant so I'm confused - I don't know whether it's the pills or just that I'm not ovulating?!

On the leaflet in the box it says that if you have irregular periods you should take them for about 10 days from cd16 which means you will have already ovulated? I'm not sure why she's put me on them for 3 weeks a month?!

Anyone any experience with them??
