Hi Ladies, just wanted to ask some advice? I've been off the pill now for almost four months and my periods are very odd. Sorry if this sounds a bit horrid, its just like normal discharge but darker, almost like old blood, its so small that just a panty liner is enough. Id this normal? Id have thought id have had a proper bleed by now. Im definately not pregnant as I've just done a test. Has anyone else had this? Do I need to speak to my nurse? Its the first time for me so I'm a bit nervous, I'm 35 and don't know whether to just hold fire or whether to get some advice being what could be a slighkt older mummy???

It could just be your body returning to normal after coming off the pill, but tbh I would go and ask anyway. They may well just tell you to keep trying, but at 35 they should refer you for investigations if you haven't conceived in 6 months of trying. Good luck!
