implantation (or not)

I had what i thought was an implantation bleed, 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Was a bit of pinkish slime when i wiped and nothing since. Tested and retested (inc this morning) BFN, but also this morning i noticed a tiny (and i mean tiny) amount of browish/pinkish blood, thought AF hooray! stuck TP in. Went to change it, nothing, a dot of blood thats all and still nothing now. I dont know when my AF is due as iam bf, but if the first bleed was an ovulation bleed (another posibility) could it be implantaion this time round?

Are you trying to get pregnant? When I was still producing milk I had spotting all the time until I stopped completely and af returned in 2 weeks with full force!!

I've never heard of an ovulation bleed, maybe your hormones are still sorting themselves out. I think you would probably be better off by trying to judge when your ovulation is due. You can test for that as well. It is difficult to say, maybe you should wait another week before you test again?

I've never heard of an ovulation bleed either. Tbh if you had a bleed two weeks ago and have not had a positive pg test then I think it's unlikely that you are pregnant. It's more likely that your hormones are just returning to normal and that your af may arrive iminently. if you've not had a period since your previous child was born and you're still breastfeeding then it's possible you are not even ovulating yet, although I do kno that it is possible to ovulate while breastfeeding. I know you say you've never had spotting before, but there really is a first time for everything. It's amazing how many posts there are on these boards saying "I must be pregnant, I'm never late/I don't usually have spotting so it must be implantation/I never have sore boobs pre af so I must be pregnant" only for af to arrive days later and for same poster to be thoroughly disappointed, and somewhat annoyed that their body appears to have tricked them into thinking that they were pregnant. Ideally I would wait for af to arrive, because you can then get an idea of when you should be testing and can then possibly try to predict your ovulation etc. trying to predict ovulation when you've not yet had a period is almost impossible, not to mention expensive.

good luck x

I apprieciate all that our saying and yes your proberly right and i'm just clutching at straws, but until i get my AF i will continue to test as we are still TTC, and i might catch on before i have an af anyway. With previous pgs i never waited for a natural af before TTC after finishing the pill, i finshed the pill had withdrawel bleed and got my BFP 28 days late, all three times. I know this is a different situation but feels relevent all the same.
