got a faint positive this morning, have done a test at gp's too to be sure even tho i'm 99% sure, dh doesn't know so can't wait to tell him tonight thought the test was neg at first so put it in the bathroom bin 1/2hr later checked it again to be sure and there it was, a very faint line (think i've checked it a 100 times!!!

I would do another test tbh, on instructions of HPT's they all say do not read results after 10 mins, so could be a false pos+.

Likewise I dont want to put a downer on things, but that exact same thing happened to me - there was nothing in 10 minutes and then a very faint line after 30 mins..I did another test which was neg, and got my AF the next day. I really, really hope the opposite for you - but evaporation lines DO happen. You've said you've done a test at the GPs too, though, and if that said positive then thats great!
Fingers crossed for you!

Hi

I did my test four days before my monthly was due and the line was also extremely faint. Then went and had a blood test which confirmed that i definitely was pregs. But to be sure, you must go and get one done either at your GP or local hospital. (private's best because you get result the same day)

got the results back today and it was negative , I sort of build myself up for this so i wouldn't be so disappointed but i'm now starting to worry. My periods are never late so i'm now starting to wonder what the problem is, i have to go back and do another test in a week.
