I am not currently trying to conceive at the moment, so apologies if this is an insensitive post.

DP and I use withdrawal method and he is careful about timings. My period didn't turn up on Sunday/Monday as expected so I took a tesco test, which was negative. Tried again this lunchtime with a chemist brand early use test, again negative. I had already urinated several times through the morning but don't know if that matters.

Just wondering how likely the neg tests are wrong? Dd was unplanned (I was on the pill) but I got a positive straightaway.

Thanks!

Period just seems to have started. Perhaps I provoked it by typing that message..!

Glad you got the outcome you wanted.... But for future reference the withdrawal method... Is like playing Russian roulette. Whether or not he is careful pulling out and timing it well, sperm will be in his pre cum.

Thanks Sally and Gem.

We are planning to try for another baby soon so it wouldnt have been a disaster. It is just that after dd being a very happy accident I was kind of looking forward to the planning!
