OPK as HPT, advice please!

Hi

I had a 5dt on 2.6.14 so I am 9dp5dt. I tested with HPT on Sunday morning 6dp5dt (I know, stupid) and had a faint pink line (def pink so I'm fairly sure it wasn't evaporation)
Monday afternoon I tested late afternoon having had approx 1 litre of water and got another faint pink- clearer than Sunday but took a while longer to show.
Since then I've tested with opks- I'm attaching the image of the results from the last 2 days, the last one is this morning's.

Would anybody mind giving me their opinion? i know I've probably been pregnant but I've convinced myself it's a chemical as Monday's line was faint.

Thank you so much- OTD isn't till Saturday I'm trying not to test again until then (I've decided OPKs don't count!!)

If you know you have definitely ovulated and now you are getting positives on opk (with lines getting darker) then there is a good chance you are pregnant! I am currently 4 weeks pg, pee'd on an opk the other day for curiosities sake and it was a screaming postitive haha. Get yourself a First Response test or something, the internet cheapies (hpt) are not good in my experience!

I'm using a donor egg so I had a Decapeptyl injection on 7.5.14, apparently that stops me ovulating? Did a test when I get in (I have to bring the wrappers and boxes to the supermarket bin as my husband thinks early testing is the road to madness) and it's dark-darker than this morning.

I'm too scared to use an HPT now...

No symptoms at all yet! Eeeeek do a hpt you are killing me with suspense haha!

Don't worry about the line being fainter on Monday - hardly surprising if you'd drunk a litre of water!!! After my first BFP I tested every day and then every other day until I ran out of internet cheapies (HPT not OPK). The lines fluctuated massively from day to day, even though they were all with FMU, so you definitely can't set too much store by that.

If you're concerned, go and get a CB digi - that will tell you for sure. And step away from the OPKs - judging the darkness of the line is just too confusing!

Hanflan- hooray, I haven't had any symptoms apart from the ache in my uterus (I think it was my uterus-it was in that region) and a fleeting feeling of nausea. I keep prodding my boobs to see if they're sore but they're only a tiny bit sore today (from all the prodding no doubt!) Haven't gone off any food AT ALL! You must be so looking forward to hearing the heartbeat.

Thanks Monstamio- I was hoping it was the water, but then I convinced myself I was looking for excuses. I was cross eyed at one point comparing lines. This is my first 2ww as my other (own egg) IVFs didn't make it to transfer- I've never had this complete lunacy before! I have 2 Sainsbury's digitals waiting but sod them, I'm going to buy a Clearblue tomorrow!

I am 8dpo & poas opk yday & today and have a visable line...not getting my hopes up tho as lots of people say you can have a pos opk & not be also.
The fact you had faint lines on hpt too...is fab :)

Thanks 1moretime! I'm too nervous to even begin to hope this might be my turn. Even if it's a BFP, I bet I'll be one of those women who worry for the whole 9 months. I have 'chemical pregnancy' in the back of my mind all the time-I'd never heard of it before we started TTC!

I hope the OPKs are being kind to you- 8dpo is early, so they should get darker over the next few days. Fingers crossed for you!

Awww try not to worry hun. I think every preg lady worrys when they get their bfp. I have a ds age 5 & i worried...its only natural.

Yeh 8dpo is still early so prob opk dont mean anything atm plus i have pcos so prob be unreliable too!

I did an opk (bfp last sat) but not even a line...Ill try tomorrow, it sounds very promising op, I wish you all the best :-) xx

Bellaboo did you do a opk test and was neg but got a bfp on a hpt then?

Hey hun. Im 9dpo...got sore boobs today..they are really sore infact...took my bra off & they hurt lol.

I also had a bfp on an opk the day before I got one on an hpt. I was 'saving' the hpt and took the opk out of curiosity. If you are definitely not ovulating or about to, opks are actually supposed to be a fairly accurate indicator of the pregnancy hormone. Good luck!

My clinic said today was first day to test- 16 dpo, so you're still early. Fingers crossed for you.

Took HPT (3) this morning and got BFP, then proceeded to fall down 4 steps in the house (on my bum-only I could do that...) so now I'm convinced I've damaged it. Stomach feels funny, so I'm thinking a miscarriage is on the way...
