TTC #2 - Starting June 2014. Worries, anxiety and excitement!

Hello ladies

So after 21 months since the birth of my son my husband and I have decided to TTC #2. We had a little accident last month during my ovulation window but unfortunately AF has shown her unwelcome face and no baby for me this month .

I'm full of worries about TTC #2 - with my first it was straight forward, first time success! I keep reading so many threads talking about secondary infertility and troubles conceiving #2. For health reasons - I need (ideally) to have my last child before I enter my thirties. I'm 27 not overweight and I have not been taking any form of birth control but still I cannot shift this anxiety. What sort of experiences have you ladies had with baby #2 (or subsequent conception)? How long did it take you to conceive? Did you find it took you longer with subsequent pregnancies? Any tips?

I am in a similar situation to you - dd has just turned 21months and we are trying for dc2. I was lucky to come off my pill last time and fall pregnant first time of trying (literally!) however since I've come off my pill in March my periods haven't went back into their normal cycle. I thought we would be as lucky as last time and I would revert straight back to normal cycle and get pregnant but worried it might not be that easy!

I hear you YummyCake I cannot take it for granted that it will be as easy as last time.

As I said hubby and I had a little "accident" last month (as we officially start trying for #2 this month) and I was convinced I was pg because we had sex during ovulation (same as with my 1st). But now that AF has shown her face I'm not so sure I'm going to be as relaxed about it next month and maybe start charting my ovulation a little bit more carefully.
