Hi everyone, I know this is probably a bit early (since it isn't July yet) but I thought I would start a new thread for those who lost their tickets for previous busses and for those who are beginning their bus journey now. Please feel free to add your stats to the list and grab a good seat while you can. Best of luck to everyone TTC and I look forward to getting many BFP's posted on here.

Hi everyone, just catching up as I have been at a conference with work last few days! I was super super nervous (don't need the stress!) but it went really well. So after a loooong drive home I am in pjs and catching up on all the convos on the bus

Also need to check in with my app and get DTD!! Not sure if I will be able to stay awake tonight....but will give it a shot!

One of tha talks was very inspiring at the conference and spoke about enjoying the simple things....to all those having a tough time, stop and take a moment and enjoy the little things - a hot shower, a nice cup of coffee or wine, the sun on your face.....
Have a good day all!

Aprilray · 19/06/2014 10:09

Morning ladies.
Spinning hope your BFN turns into a BFP.
Welcome Lady November
Kitty Good luck today! and hope your temps start behaving themselves.
Rainbow glad your conference went well - you're right, we need to take the time to enjoy the simple things in life Smile

CD9 here and not much to report...poor DH is having his swimmers tested today. At least I can console him with beer and the footy later. I'm trying to cut back on the booze so have bought myself some alcohol free beer - Hmm

Stepawayfromthezebras · 19/06/2014 10:16

Morning all, I've not stepped into this bus yet after being cross about being rudely evicted from the June bus.

Stepawayfromthezebras TTC#1 Cycle#12 BFP due 12th July

Here's to many March babies!

Rainbow555 · 19/06/2014 11:38

Watching OBEM..tears happy tears! One day :)

Cpt1sock · 19/06/2014 11:38

Good morning,

AF has left the building here and I'm feeling full of positivity and energy [shocked] dh came home from work last night and said he has to go to away for 3 days, slap bang in fertile time. He can't send anyone else and doesn't think "but my wife's ovulating" will cut it with his boss as a reason not to go, sooooo I'm keeping fingers crossed I'll ov early or late this month but also being realistic that I'll prob be a spectator on the July bus and a proper passenger on the August bus.

I'll go on a read back now, I started writing this a good few hours ago so there will be things I've missed. Xx

cinnamongreyhound · 19/06/2014 13:08

Fingers crossed for your dh Aprilray.

My dh is not in my good books today, too tired last night and I'm working tonight and tomorrow not back until after midnight so no chance then! So that's me done for trying this month, have to hope previous attempts have been successful. I think it's probably too late anyway as I think I ovulated Monday but it actually makes me really sad that he turns me down even if it is because he thinks I only want to get pregnant. Making me more and more worried that his heart is not fully into ttc :(

Aprilray · 19/06/2014 13:54

Is sounds like you're ok for this month if you ovulated on Monday Cinnamon I'm sure your DH's heart is in it. It is hard isn't it. I have been in tears before because I have wanted to DTD to increase our chances and DH hasn't been in the mood.
We are using a clear blue fertility monitor this month so have agreed to definitely DTD on peak days with a couple of practice runs when it says high.

Cpt that is bad timing! You may still be ok even if you do ovulate during those three days if you have DTD before he has gone/when he gets back - fx

Blueskygirl30 · 19/06/2014 14:19

Treaclepie how are you doing today? Did you decide to go in today? If so I hope it all went well and that you're feeling more relaxed now.

Cinnamon that sounds really rubbish. I am going to try my best next month to not let on when I'm ovulating so my DH doesn't think it's all about pregnancy. I have a feeling that if he knew I was fertile he would be the same, which would leave me feeling rejected and annoyed.

I have a weird scenario, we decided we would wait until next month to start TTC and I thought I had ovulated at the beginning of the week as that's what my period tracker on my phone said. Last night we got carried away and DTD without protection. Today I noticed that my period tracker on my ipad said I should be ovulating today so I did an ovulation test and it was positive. I've decided not to mention it to my DH as he is really freaked out about having children, even though we've agreed that we will have them. Now I feel like I have mislead him...I think I won't say anything until AF does or doesn't show up on 01 July! Hmm

Cpt1sock · 19/06/2014 15:36

cinnamon it's frustrating this ttc lark isn't it? Last month dh was 'too tired' to dtd when I'd had a +ov. I was really pissed off with him, took ages to get to sleep while he snored louder than ever just to rub salt in the womb!! He set his alarm early so we could dtd before work, I said I wasn't interested because he'd upset me the night before haha we did dtd I wasn't cutting my nose off to spite my face although I didn't really want to!

April hope so. He didn't seem keen on leaving a sample for me! Haha I am kidding although.......

bluesky I'm sure your dh would be happy when faced with a +hpt, at least he's not had the dreaded 2ww to deal with. I hope you get what you hope for, fx.

I've still not read back from yesterday, phones keep ringing, doors keep knocking!

I hope everyone is happy & healthy. Love & light to those who are having a difficult time. Xxx

notoasthere · 19/06/2014 15:39

bluesky when I conceived ds we'd had a massive argument the week before about ttc. A Valentines shag and 2 weeks later, we were pregnant. He was delighted. Try not to worry, they often don't seem too enthusiastic till it happens!

notoasthere · 19/06/2014 15:41

Does anyone else get period type pains/bacl ache when ovulating? I normally just get a nagging one sided stitch type pain but I've got the full shebang going on today!

lp2014 · 19/06/2014 15:43

Not getting time to read all messages, will catch up tonight. Xx

Choccywoccydodah · 19/06/2014 15:44

notoasthere ditto with the toddler! I'm always knackered so I'm never really 'in the mood' and dh never asks when I'm ov-ing, he just does his part when I want some ha ha! He's jump on every day if if let him :)

bluesky I'm sure your dh would be fine. You weren't to know your dates and what's a month early anyway Grin

scottishbride · 19/06/2014 16:04

Hello! I wondered if I could join the bus?? I had a bit of a meltdown last night after finding out that yet another of my friends is pregnant!! And I don't know what dh thought of my irrational jealousy and general moodiness. He seems to take all this in his stride and is always so positive about everything!!!! I must say reading some of these threads have been really helpful - I don't feel like I'm going quite so insane! A BFP in July would be amazing, so good luck everyone!!!!
OK, I've previewed this and promise to use less exclamation marks next time....

cinnamongreyhound · 19/06/2014 16:07

Yep I always get more pain when I ovulate than when I have af but only since having dc.

I find it hard because he seems to have to distinguish the two. Why does the reason for dtd affect whether we enjoy it or not? He has known for at least 18 months I wanted another and always said no, I've found it really hard and have been upset in front of him on several occasions and nothing changed then all of a sudden he said of we have a bigger car (have dss so will be 4 kids some of the time with this one) we can have another baby. I'm a childminder so it affects my income too and he's 48 so I totally see his point but really don't understand the change of heart.

cinnamongreyhound · 19/06/2014 16:09

I wish choccywoccydodah! It's always been this way since we've been together I put it down to his old age Wink

Aprilray · 19/06/2014 16:33

Hi Scottishbride welcome aboard Smile I have felt so much better about everything since joining this thread, I'm sure you will too.

What are your stats?
(mine are Aprilray 33, ttc #1, cycle 7)

KittyVonCatsington · 19/06/2014 16:42

Sorry you are having a pants time cinnamon - would be so much easier if we didn't need their supplies, eh?! Grin

Hi scottishbride sounds like you will fit right in!!!!!!!!!!!! ( don't worry about too many exclamation marks Wink )

Phew! Observation over. Thank f@ck it's Friday tomorrow!!

Capn you laugh, but a couple of busses ago, my DH went sailing just over my fertile few days. I actually looked up if it would be possible to leave a deposit or two. That's how desperate I am! Turns out his sperm has to be frozen in nitrogen to survive, my freezer won't cut it apparently Grin

scottishbride · 19/06/2014 16:44

Thank you!

I'm Scottishbride 33, ttc 1, cycle 3. (can't find a hashtag key on my computer)
So far I'm resisting any opks, but did get very convincing cm in cycle 1 but none since. Already giving TMI sorry. Blush

So far had 28 day exact cycles and my BFP will hopefully be July 11th.

Aprilray · 19/06/2014 16:51

Oh yeah- I forgot the BFP part, the most important part!!

Blueskygirl30 · 19/06/2014 17:03

Thank you for your replies Cpt1 Choccy and notoasthere I know he will be happy (once he gets over the fear he seems to have that he won't be a good father). And a month really makes no difference (in fact, it would be better in the long run) and by the time I would have a BFP we will have bought our house, which is what we were waiting for to start TTC in the first place.

This forum is fabulous, it's nice to gave all of you lovely ladies to share with and to hear how you are all doing !

cinnamongreyhound · 19/06/2014 17:06

Hi scottishbride, sorry x-posts earlier. I'm new here too :)

lp2014 · 19/06/2014 17:15

Welcome all new people!

Friday tomorrow at last! I was not feeling positive at all last night and this morning but feeling much better now! Due to ov around Sunday. Xx

Treaclepie19 · 19/06/2014 17:54

Haven't read back properly so will in a minute.

kitty, how was your observation?
And my temp went up today as well :/ on Cd7 also!
Still got af spotting. What is going on?

notoasthere · 19/06/2014 18:07

I admire all you ladies who temp chart - despite many reads of taking charge of your fertility and knowing the theory, I still find it terribly confusing.

oh, and my stats if needed
