Hi everyone, I know this is probably a bit early (since it isn't July yet) but I thought I would start a new thread for those who lost their tickets for previous busses and for those who are beginning their bus journey now. Please feel free to add your stats to the list and grab a good seat while you can. Best of luck to everyone TTC and I look forward to getting many BFP's posted on here.

Right. I am over my melt down!! Let's get on with getting some BFP hey!! There's plenty more names out there. Just have to let dh know now. He'll be gutted and quite pissed off I'm sure.
I know my sister always liked Matilda as a name. Just wish she'd been honest with me and told me that she was going to use it before. Rather than waiting until now and basically lying to me before.
Roll in tomorrow when husband gets back. Now I need a hug!! And a BFP. Af now would really be the icing on the cake.

Treaclepie19 · 29/06/2014 17:08

Haha thanks kitty, because it went up so much and then down on 2 dpo, TCOYF says fallback rise and it should go back up tomorrow.

We shall see.

I hope I'm not still about to ovulate because we didn't dtd last night. Will tonight though just in case.

cinnamongreyhound · 29/06/2014 17:53

Good luck sunshinesaz86!

Congrats on your niece Envy we has similar with a friends ds's name but actually when ds1 was born we felt he suited a different name! Hormones will account for the tears but try no to be too disappointed FoscarC! Just realised my post didn't work and there's loads of chat in between. Could your sister not call her daughter Tilly and you keep Matilda if she looks like a Tilly. I'm sorry you feel she's lied to you :(

Still no af here and I've been feeling nauseous on and off today but I did have a really late night so could be due to tiredness. Really hoping I won't be disappointed tomorrow morning!

spinningirl10 · 29/06/2014 18:28

Ahh Foscar I think that was rotten of your sister to pinch your name choice. I would have been pissed off tooThanks

Kitty, that opk is looking good, I would do another later today and definitely dtdGrin

KittyVonCatsington · 29/06/2014 19:16

Thanks spinning! Will make sure I schedule a session. It's a hard life isn't it Wink
How are you? Is this cycle shaping up to be a good 'un?

FoscarC · 29/06/2014 19:16

Thank you to everyone fr your support today. It really helped especially as I couldn't get hold of dh as he was asleep because of time difference. Have spoken to him now and feel much much better. Although I am clearly very very emotional. I am not a crier but have cried most of today. Have a horrid feeling af is on its way. Only tomorrow will tell.

Hope you are all ok.

TheGrandHighWitch · 29/06/2014 19:56

No problem FoscarC that is what we're here for after all Smile.

Just been looking at the superdrug test instructions and it reckons it can be used four days before your period is due which is apparently 15dpo (it conveniently ignores shorter luteal phases it seems) which puts the earliest testing date at 11dpo if I am right. I will be 11dpo on tuesday but debating whether to bust it out tomorrow night, what do you all think?

OP posts:
FoscarC · 29/06/2014 20:03

grandhigh. I don't know what to think anymore. I wish I had done a test already so that I wasn't left in this limbo land of just not knowing. Am fed up of it now. So at least if you do one you have an answer. But then if you do it too early you may get a false negative. It's always that thing that if you do it early and get a BFP it's great, but if not it can leave you even more confused. I think I'd wait until Tuesday. It's not too long.

If I go by my 'normal' I am now 17 days post ov. But I could still get af tomorrow and be in my normal range.

FoscarC · 29/06/2014 20:04

God! Sorry. I'm being so depressed and miserable!!

Why don't you do the test tomorrow but bear in mind that if it's negative then you did test early?

Rainbow555 · 29/06/2014 20:14

Just read all the posts I have missed from last night, sorry to hear you had an emotionl day foscar bitter sweet and then rather devastating I am sure! Fx for you for tomorrow that your sticky bfp is on it's way!
kitty did you get a stronger opk?
When do you plan to poas cinnemon? Fx for you!

TheGrandHighWitch · 29/06/2014 20:16

That's what I am thinking FoscarC. Testing late on Monday should yield a similar result to early Tuesday. FFS we should be able to know definitively without all this guesswork Angry. I am trying to decide if it would have been better or worse to live in a time when you had to wait for several missed periods or movement before you found out for sure. Am erring on the side of it must have sucked lol.

You are perfectly entitled to feel a bit low so don't worry. Hopefully your test will be very accurate (and positive of course) and we can end part one of this thread and wave goodbye to the station in style.

Blueskygirl30 · 29/06/2014 20:20

Grandhighwitch I read that too, and to be honest, most of the vast reading I've done has said that people tend to get the BFP at between 10&12DPO. I also discovered that I'm actually only 8DPO today as I thought that the day you got a peak on an OPK was the ovulation day. I'm still going to test tomorrow, mainly because I'm addicted and I still have 10 HPTs to go through (not including the other 5 I ordered online the other day)

So, I've just found out an old friend of mine is pregnant, it was a happy accident. I am being selfishly annoyed about it, but we're not friends anymore anyway so I don't have to pretend to be happy for her. I'm sure that makes me a really horrible person though.

Treaclepie19 · 29/06/2014 20:38

That doesn't make you a horrible person blue!

Ugh my boobs are really sore. It's funny because before I got pregnant they were never sore but I noticed then hurting really early - way before I got a positive. Didnt put 2+2 together though.

Anyway, ouch!

TheGrandHighWitch · 29/06/2014 20:40

Well that definitely explains the neg test for you this morning then Blueskygirl30. Like you I am testing like a mad thing atm only on the cheapies so far but seriously thinking about using the superdrug one either tomorrow morning or tomorrow night. I think I may use a cheapy for fmu and decide based on the results of that.

So roll call for the poas party tomorrow is so far:
TheGrandHighWitch, Blueskygirl30 and cinnamongreyhound. Anyone else want to join us?

OP posts:
FoscarC · 29/06/2014 21:06

I am doing once dh gets home. He lands at 4pm. Then it's off to the supermarket as home to pee. Although it won't be fmu. Oooh I'm so nervous.xx

cinnamongreyhound · 29/06/2014 21:12

If guess your hcg won't have changed much from mon pm to tues am TheGrandHighwitch, but it won't be as concentrated wee in the evening will it? I could be wrong but I always thought you use fmu because of high concentration of hcg. That's why I'm waiting until tomorrow morning anyway.

Interesting about when you get +ve test as I definitely have to be later than that based on 2 pregnancies.

Thanks Rainbow555, tomorrow morning for me but not hopeful. My af is pretty regular though so even of -ve I'll take it as good if it doesn't arrive!

Pompatrol · 29/06/2014 21:18

Good luck testers!!
Foscar I would have been really upset about the name situation too. I hope you're feeling a bit better about it all.

Blueskygirl30 · 29/06/2014 21:23

Hmmmmm, I have a feeling AF is on her way. I've been feeling emotional all day and had period type cramping and just noticed (warning..maybe tmi) some brownish spotting. So, unless I have implanted at 8dpo, which sounds late to me, I am expecting AF to be with me tomorrow. Gosh darn. Sad oh well, more DTD for DH and I next month!

In terms of testing any time except first thing in the morning, everything I've read (and again, although this is cycle 1 for me, I've been reading a lot of stuff for the past 6 months), as long as you try not to drink too much and don't go for a pee for about 4 hours, the concentration should be good enough for an accurate test.

Treaclepie19 · 29/06/2014 21:25

bluesky, the most common implantation day is 9.

Don't give up hope.

notoasthere · 29/06/2014 21:32

I'm holding off till Tuesday to test when I'm 12dpo....don't have any tests for fmu tomorrow

spinningirl10 · 29/06/2014 21:33

Kitty I'm good thanks, cd6 so should ov fri/sat but I might have to go to Kent for those days with my mum to visit her brother who is very poorly so we'll have to see what happens. I've told dp if I have to go he will have to come in from his nightshift for a super quick one in the 5 mins we'll be at home together before I catch the trainGrin

Lauran pleased the acupuncture was good, not sure I'd like the pain afterwards though! I shall report back after my reflexology. I shall have to reiki, I don't know anything about itBlush

Blueskygirl30 · 29/06/2014 21:34

Thanks Treaclepie I'll try not to, but I think AF is due tomorrow so I think she's probably on her wicked old way. I will still test until AF actually arrives to ruin my day though.

Fx for all you other Monday morning and afternoon testers!

spinningirl10 · 29/06/2014 21:41

Oooh there's a few of you poas in the next couple of days.....good luck, hope we get this bus off to a good start with some bfp's Grin

junkfoodaddict · 29/06/2014 22:24

An ovulation calculator put me as ovulating between 24th and 29th June. I had horrendous ovuation type pains in my left hip area on the 27th through to 28th June. We DTD Saturday monring (21st), Saturday night, Monday morning (23rd), Tuesday night (24th) and Saturday night (29th). I am hoping that will get me my BFP next month. I am due AF July 10th. Likely?

FoscarC · 29/06/2014 23:06

Fingers crossed for you junkfood. I don't really know when and how often. We dtd every single day at least once for 3 whole weeks this cycle (honeymoon). From cd6 to cd27. I'll let you know how that worked out for us! I'd probably have tried a couple in the gap between 24th an 29th but the most important thing is just to enjoy dtd. The only reason we did it so much was that we were in a villa with absolutely nothing else to do apart from eat sleep and dtd. And we haven't done it since as dh is now away. And I believe you can do too much. We were just enjoying ourselves. Unlikely we will ever get so much time again to be so active in our attempts. Such a shame. Work gets in the way of all my fun.
