I had my coil removed a couple of months ago and my partner and I have been TTC ever since. I hadnt had the coil in that long, less than 2 months so i had a regular period which was bang on time but i am now a week late and tests are reading negative. I have felt pregnant however for about 4weeks, I already have 2 children, 2.5 and 13months but i was never 'trying' to get pregnant with either child so TTC is new to me. Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on this as i really want to be pregnant. Am i testing to soon?

A week late isn't usually testing too soon (unless you have very short cycles maybe?). Stopping the coil threw my cycles (non hormonal) the coil made my cycle heavier and shorter. When i stopped my cycles had a few normal (for coil but lighter) Then they went a bit odd before settling down. Admittedly i'd had it for 4/5 years.

What tests are you using ? clearblue BFN is a BFN no doubt about it but any other brand/unbranded can give false BFN's or false BFP's have you had a change in diet or anything this month your period could have just been held back by something? and "Feeling" pregnant is never something to go on btw ive done that loads of times and once you tell your self in your head you think you pregnant your body reacts to it and gives you false signals like bloating, moving etc

Been using the cheap dip strips, these gave me my positive test with my first child when i was just 4weeks gone but still nothing after testing once again this morning. No change in diet either. Think i need to stop thinking about it so much and just let nature take its course. My partner and i have a very high daily sex drive so no need to be doing ovulating strips, if it going to happen then i suppose it will happen. I didnt find out i was pregnant with my little girl until i was 20weeks gone and i dont want this to happen again as i missed out on half of my pregnancy and i love being pregnant. Just keep positive i suppose and enjoy it
