Anyone got pg immediately after mc

hey all,

So long story short, I mc on Feb 27 with dc2. Bled for 12 weeks (yes, 12 weeks!) until I had a procedure that found and removed a tiny piece of my bubba still in my womb [heartbroken]. Since I had that procedure three and a bit weeks ago, I feel so much better in myself, emotionally I'm much stronger, and I'm starting to think of ttc again.

I've just done an ovulation test and got a really strong line back so I'm - for once - pleased that my body is getting back to normal.

So my question is, should I seize the moment and BD/DTD tonight/tomorrow or wait until AF arrives then try next month? I know the docs say to wait ideally for one full cycle but how many of you have been in this situation (got upduffed before your first AF) and gone on to have successful pregnancies?

I obviously want dc2 but don't want to put myself at risk of another mc just because I don't want to wait for a few weeks. And of course, I am aware that just because I may dtd tonight doesn't mean I'll get upduffed anyway, I'm just putting the question out there ;)

I did. Twice. But it's down to whether you feel emotionally ready. Also the Dr says to wait one cycle only to calculate the edd.

Sorry for your loss and the horrendous time you had.

I am sorry for you loss. You don't need to wait like annoyed said it's just for dates and you will know them anyway if you know when you ovulated. I got pregnant straight after I miscarried you are at your most fertile.

Hi broody. I had an mc 2 weeks ago, although I was only 5 weeks. However we've already started DTD guiltily ignoring doc who said wait for 1 cycle

What will be will be is my view. Although every now and again I think "fuck what if I able another mc"

I had an early mc on Sat. Was only 5 weeks though. Do I need to see a doc? That hadnt occurred to me as I hadnt had my booking in or anything

doodle, do you think you've passed everything? Are you still bleeding? If you do a hpt and it's still positive in a few weeks, defo see the doctor as you could still be retaining bubba.
