I am Confused I am trying these, to try to help things along! I tried starting them last week, as suggested by online research with length of cycle etc. First day negative, 3rd day faint positive, but all negative ever since? Is that it, or some sort of false positive and not ovulated yet?

These things are the work of the devil. They confused and stressed me no end. All I can suggest is that if you really want to use them, keep going for longer per month than they suggest and just try not to take them as gospel. Sperms are tenacious little sods anyway!
Also, if you plan on using then long term, do buy them online or they will bankrupt you!
Good luck.

Thanks for replying Smile I did get them online. Will be longer than a month, DH is away atm. I just wanted an idea of where I am. Maybe need to think of something else!

Try charting your temp hun. Iv just started...mid cycle so i know it wont be as reliable, but you get to learn alot about your cycle & will start to see a pattern x

I find them quite reassuring as I tend to see a faint line for a couple of days then a strong positive, so it reassures me that things are happening, and they showed me I was ovulating late in the cycle which I would not really have known otherwise. Also they have helped me to become more attuned to my cycle to recognise when I'm ovulating just from the physical signs, and then confirm it with the OPK. If you have a load of internet cheapies it could be worth persevering with them for a couple of months just to see what you think.

Pale line then negative may be a case of testing when you have drunk too much and getting a diluted result and missing the peak. Try to take at a similar time each day (eg when you get home from work) and don't drink anything for a couple of hours beforehand if poss.

I've bought a pack of these but haven't tried them yet.

I used to notice other signs of ovulation but I haven't been lately so I thought I'd try this to check everything's ok.

I think I have quite a short cycle and an on day 9 now so I'll try it today.

Il need to get another pack though because 5 days will probably not be enough.

Gem I am usually on about a 31 or 32 day cycle but have had a few much longer up to something like 45 days. On a normal cycle I would usually ovulate around day 17 or 18 so not that late but not the standard day 14 that I originally assumed before I looked into this at all!
