The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Absolutely smiling! I get that they're trying to ensure we can afford the repayments and live at the same time but it's just been so frustrating with all the daft questions. Hey ho! Can't wait to get in and start doing it up. I'm most excited that I have got a pantry, have bought Kilner jars and cool storage already! How very sad of me! Lol. Have you had much bother with the whole process? Are you in a chain or is it pretty straightforward. I'm hoping that a new house will mark the end of the sadness of the mc and see the beginning of a new little life soon x

Boozle80 · 12/06/2014 22:20

Lol, I love my kilner jars! Xx

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 12/06/2014 22:41

Thats exactly how I feel broody new house, new start.

My mortgage adviser refused to believe I only spend £2 a month on toiletries, no amount of explaining that I stock up when its on offer so dont buy it monthly seemed to get through Hmm

we are buying a house with mil, shes having her own annex, its a realitivley short chain, the beginning is first time buyers, then mil's buyers (we rent), then our seller is going into rented. Hoping to exchange on 11th July.

Our current house has been a lovely house to live as a couple and my dsc have been happy here, they are 11 and 16 but the new house is in a much more family friendly area, lots of parks, toddler groups and 3 great schools in walking distance. Much bigger house and toddler friendly garden, all I need is the toddler to put in it Sad it feels like a new start and im hoping it will help with the healing process.

Monten · 12/06/2014 22:49

Congrats on the house broody. Speaking of Kilner jars and sadness, before I went in for the erpc I made a batch of scone dough so I found pop them in the oven to have when I got home with a cup of tea. Seriously, how sad is that? I've bypassed mum and gone straight to granny.

I think I will give opks and CBFM a go. Might wait one cycle for it to calm down.

I drank rather too much red wine waiting for World Cup to start and had a cry because I felt sorry for the doves they let off at the start Blush. I have also just cried at a clip of the footballers doing the babies in arms celebration. Definitely still a lot of hormones kicking about.

officelady · 13/06/2014 06:09

Morning gang! Anyone POAS today? I am in two minds whether to test or not, "technically" I'm coming to the end of a 2ww but my logical brain says I didn't ovulate this month. And I have no preggo symptoms. It's my 4th cycle since the mmc and still not back to normal. Fucksake!!! That is all!!

sebsmummy1 · 13/06/2014 07:10

Test lol Grin

Littlelady33 · 13/06/2014 07:29

Office I admire your willpower! Handholding and fx if you decide to test

RedBunny · 13/06/2014 08:09

Hey all. Can I join too? I was just on a two week wait thread but AF showed up yesterday.....

Boozle80 · 13/06/2014 08:37

I've hidden all my tests for another two weeks, I have no idea what my cycle's doing since the mmc and then this weird cyst exploding thing, but according to my opk I have ovulated so I'm forcing myself to wait. Argh!!!! This is torture! Good luck to anyone who maybe peeing on the stick of doom or joy! Xx

Brummiegirl15 · 13/06/2014 08:55

I'm not going to test today - it's only been 3 weeks since MC so if I was lucky enough to catch straight away then it's still too early to test. Will probably test next Friday.

Although my logical brain is also telling me it's v doubtful that I even ovulated this month

Sal1977 · 13/06/2014 09:00

What a shitter English! Hope you get through the next week ok. The waiting is the worst bit!!

"New house - new baby" my mum always says!!

14dpo here and it's a Friday and no bloody tests in the house.

Although, spotting is just about starting so that's another month down the swanny.

Had docs on Tuesday to ask for referral to the fertility clinic which he was very happy to do and said hopefully we won't have to do all the tests again as we had loads done for the recurrent miscarriage dept 6 months or so ago.

My experience of ttc and pregnancy (4 mc and nearly 2years to date) means I am less and less enamoured of my dreams of being a mum. I hope it's just a self-protection thing! X

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 13/06/2014 09:46

Still to early for me to poas, af not due till wednesday im fairly sure I ovulated this month but am determined not to test early.

Monten · 13/06/2014 10:26

Hi everyone, welcome to all the newbies, sorry you find yourself here.

I ended up bleeding heavily last night with a fever and throwing up, just been to see GP and they reckon an infection so I have antibiotics. Feeling very low, this is last thing I need.

english that's a shitter about your birthday. Sometimes you do wonder if someone is having a laugh.

Good luck to everyone peeing on sticks imminently

HollyBen · 13/06/2014 10:37

So sorry english. I had scans at 5+5, 8 then 9 weeks before I could have an erpc. I was bleeding lightly the whole time.

I am just waiting my fertility clinic apt sal Sad

marshmallowpies · 13/06/2014 12:53

Ah English I hope you have many more happier birthdays to come, once you've got through this one. My MC started on Mothers Day so that will always be a tricky day for me in future but at least it's not the same date every year like a birthday is...

Good luck to the house buyers & the POASers today, and welcome other newbies (I'm still quite new myself...)

After screwing up my POAS earlier in the week (couldn't produce enough wee!) I tried again & have managed to get myself a BFP.

Not getting very excited about it yet, after last time, and don't feel very pregnant yet (just tired), but well, we'll see.

LittleMy2014 · 13/06/2014 13:10

Started ttc just under three months ago after a MC, hoping for a BFP soon! Good luck for this month everyone

broodylicious · 13/06/2014 13:12

Yay marshmallow! Fab newsGrin

blankfornames · 13/06/2014 13:30

Hi Marshmallow, seems like Friday 13th is lucky for both of us! After having a mc in April, I got my BFP this morning! Not letting ourselves get too excited about it after last time. FX for sticky beans all around!

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 13/06/2014 13:34

Congratulations Blank and marshmallow x

sebsmummy1 · 13/06/2014 14:16

Congratulations Grin

Brummiegirl15 · 13/06/2014 14:46

Good luck to all peeing people today!!!

Justonemoretime · 13/06/2014 16:03

Carly6971 · 13/06/2014 16:42

Just wanted to delurk and say how sorry I am your going through this again english life is so cruel :(

As for me I am having a very tearful couple of weeks, feeling very angry and upset about my mc all over again. I think it may be just because last month was our first month really trying, and boy did we try! And yet still got af :,( totally gutted and am back in the mind set of "it took 6 years last time" rather than "at least we now know we can get pregnant". Even being on here seems hard now as so many of the familiar faces have got their bfps and moved on.

Anyways sorry for the rant, congrats to the bfps will have my fingers tightly crossed for you x

Hope26 · 13/06/2014 17:30

Blank did you dtd before you got your first AF after mc?
