The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Cava and Holly, sorry to hear of your ashermans woes. I haven't got it, but it was suspected a while a go and I had a hysteroscopy. It turned out to be a septum, which they removed, but I think the treatment is similar. They put in 2 IUDs and gave me a months course of hrt. Speaking to the consultants, they seem to think ashermans is pretty fixable, either with the procedure like I had, or they put a balloon in there to allow healing. I agree that Dr Google is pretty scary on the subject.
Monten, I've had a few rounds on antibiotics and infection, it sucks. Look after yourself. Are you on the ones you can't drink with. Hand holding for that, if you are! Get well soon.
Stats: age 38, no dcs. 3x mmcs, Nov 2011 (6.5 wks HB then no hb), May 2012 (exactly the same) and June 2013 (13wks, bb died at 10).
Testing at St Mary's - normal, but septum removed. Testing at Coventry, low end of normal, progesterone protocol, now without to see how that goes...

Stats: age 24, ttc #1 since Jan 2014 (officially Jan but had been not trying not preventing since around august 2013), blighted ovum (they think), miscarried naturally starting 8+3.

MrsGingerbread · 14/06/2014 13:08

Stats - great idea.

MrsGingerbread, 32, ttc #1, cycle 4
Natural miscarriage at 5+2 on 21st May

Currently in confusion with a bfp frer from residual hormones (grrr!) :)

Monten · 14/06/2014 13:17

Oh and I am 36 (almost 37).

Just yes they are the antibios you can't drink on. Gutted! Seriously, red wine is the only upside to not being pregnant realises sounds like an alcoholic and doesnt care

Cava Holly I have been reading up on ashermans and I am completely shocked! It was mentioned when consultant discussed erpc, very briefly (as in "these are the very rare risk of complications, blah blah, ashermans, blah blah, next") but according to what I can find online it's actually not uncommon at all??

I've had two procedures in six months, now feeling really worried. Hugs for you both, christ this is so crap

Justonemoretime · 14/06/2014 13:46

In that case, Minton, I recommend chocolate icecream. The one with tiny little flecks of dark Belgian chocolate is very good. Xx

Hi Daisy

I fooking hate Facebook too.

Babies, bumps and scan pictures, every fooking where

Brummiegirl15 · 14/06/2014 14:12

Stats for me too.

Brummiegirl, aged 37.

TTC #1 since April 2014
BFP on 2nd cycle, followed by mc on 23rd May
Waiting for 1st AF which I reckon should be next week but being naughty and still DTD

Hope26 · 14/06/2014 14:23

Stats: age 26, ttc #1 since oct 2013, conceived in jan, mc in April, D&C done, Af came at cd35, very heavy. I am not off my period and done ovulation test, got flashing smiley on the CB dual hormone ovulation test and that means I'm highly fertile today. Will test every day until I get a solid smiley indicating I'm ovulating, so I'm going to dtd every day, just relieved my cycle is similar to what it was before. I just hope I ovulate this month.

Hope26 · 14/06/2014 14:24

*i am off my period

Treaclepie19 · 14/06/2014 15:39

Sounds very similar to me hope, fingers crossed you get your bfp this month x

Hope26 · 14/06/2014 15:46

Thank you I hope you get your bfp soon too. I'm a bit dreading the whole dtd but I really want a baby now. My friends sister is in labour right now... I know I'll hear good news soon of her delivery, just makes me want it even more, and it's so true, seeing bumps is actually worse than seeing babies

Treaclepie19 · 14/06/2014 16:20

Thank you. Yeah I feel the same about dtd... We haven't since the mc though so it's going to be odd.
Definitely, bumps seem to be everywhere at the moment.

nsgirl · 14/06/2014 16:57

Tell me about it! Is the whole world pregnant at the moment?! I actually cried at baby clothes in a shop this morning ??
Hi BTW
TTC since Jan
Mmc 3 weeks ago and still no bleed (I feel like I'm in a limbo out of the game grrr)

Monten what are your antibiotics? There are few you really can't drink on so long as your careful.... (And I'm a prescriber)

Boozle80 · 14/06/2014 17:11

Hi All,

I'm Boozle, 33, ttc #2 with since November, mmc at the end of March, erpc beginning of April followed by a second erpc two weeks later after I haemorrhaged, re admitted a fortnight later for the preganancy cyst rupturing and haemorrhaging for good measure, no idea what's happening with my cycle since, still ttc as I don't think it can hurt! Developed a general hatred of scan pictures on Facebook! Xx

Boozle80 · 14/06/2014 17:12

That makes me sound really miserable and I promise I'm not (well most of the time anyway!). Xx

Justonemoretime · 14/06/2014 17:38

I've had a mini melt down today- pg friend in town (dh text me to warn me, so didn't see her, but I felt angry at the situation that made me feel like avoiding her was even necessary). Neighbour but one is having a baby shower in her garden right now. Naturally this is pissing me off. Grump. ;)

Monten · 14/06/2014 17:52

Oooh, nsgirl I think I may love you! I am on Metronidazole and Clarithromycin. Any good?

Boozle you don't sound miserable in the slightest. And here is the one place you dont have to pretend not to be miserable anyway.

Just sorry you had a meltdown. My immediate next door neighbour is about seven months pregnant (by the look of her) so will be due next month when me first EDD was. That'll be nice hearing the baby crying (our walls are very thin).

There, that's my n-bomb!

Monten · 14/06/2014 17:56

Also - scan pictures on Facebook??? I'm sorry if anyone on here did that but....I just don't think that kind of thing needs to be on Facebook. You, your DH/DP and immediate family are the only people who need to see a picture of your womb

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 14/06/2014 18:04

Stats...

Age: 31
ttc#1 since nov 2013
conceived jan 2014
Mmc april 2014 at 15 weeks, baby measured 13 weeks
erpc april 9th, cycle returned to normal almost straight away (I feel extremely lucky)

Next af due wednesday and crossing everything that it doesnt come.

The 2ww has turned me into a crazy person and ive started deleting people off of facebook if they post baby related stuff.

Hope26 · 14/06/2014 18:29

Singling your situation sounds exactly like mine.. April sucked!

Hope26 · 14/06/2014 18:30

Smiling*

Brummiegirl15 · 14/06/2014 18:40

Yep Monten

Scan pictures everywhere - all over Facebook.

Hate the thing at the moment - but too much of a loser addict to delete myself off it

Abnormal scans june 2013, complete molar pregnancy confirmed july 2013. Chemotherapy started september and finished the end of november. Hcg levels have been normal now for 7 months and thankfully as my dr promised I did not lose my hair :-)
I also believe that facebook is evil and I had to ban it for a few months as I was already a hormonal wreck ( due to out of control hcg levels) let alone seeing scan pictures :-(
