Conceiving after hysteroscopy, polypectomu and laparoscopy

Hi there

I had a hysteroscopy with polypectomy and laparoscopy on Mon 28 May. My period was due two days later. I'm generally fairly regular at 28-30 days. I had a fair amount of bleeding straight after procedure which didn't surprise me because of proximity to period. This subsided and then a 3-4 days later I had, I think, a light period. My next period was due on Tues 27th May. For a couple of days I had a tiny amount of dark brown spotting but definitely not a period. Just a few drops. Have been feeling crampy, since period due, twinges and a bit of a funny taste in mouth on and off. Also feeling a bit off colour/mildly queasy at times though not really sick. Don't want to get my hopes up but hoping I'm pregnant and haven't just got delay because of procedure.
Putting off doing a pregnancy test in case disappointed.

I'm now 8 days late. Any thoughts or experiences.

Many thanks
