Hello ladies! My partner and I have been trying to conceive for nearly 18 months now, I'm not a week late for my period, been suffering with sickness during the night, sore boobs etc, so I though woo hoo baby time!

BUT I've done a test and it's come back negative. Anyone been through this? Should I accept that I'm not expecting or should I keep trying to test? And does anyone know why this happens?

Thanks for reading ladies! :)

I'd do another test in a weeks time (maybe with a more sensitive test), or ask your GP for a blood test. I'm a nurse and have tested several women's urine samples at work where it has come back as a negative, and they have done a home pregnancy test that is positive-they were pregnant, but probably used a more sensitive test at home. My mum also told me she did a couple of clear blue tests when she "knew" she was pregnant, they both said she wasn't and...well, here I am! Was eventually confirmed with a blood test :)

Tesco and superdrug own are meant to be quite sensitive so try with them :) x

Ok that's the plan! Thank you so much ladies! So much better getting advice from real people rather than all the nhs websites lol :)
