Help! Cerazette related!

Hi all,
This is complicated so stick with me!
3yrs ago after I has dd I decided on the Depo shot as my method of contraception as we already had newborn dd and ds then 4 almost 5 we were happy as we were, but both decided that we might like another child further down the line.
I used the shot for 2.5 yrs but I began having some side affects from it so after discussion with my gp I switched to the pill (cerazette) this has been fab no side affects feeling great on it after 6 months...
however! due to a complete cock up with my repeat proscription I ran out on the 4th and figured it would prob do my body good to have a clear out (af) anyway and my gp when consulted totally agreed.
So after explaining this to dh and pushing home that if he wanted to dtd we'd have to use condoms or risk having dc 3, he suggested actually it may be a good time as were stable in a good position etc..
So to sum up I came off cerazette on the 4th and still haven't had af! We dtd on the 24th and 25th and I'm now worried I've conceived before letting my af come!
So I guess I'm just wondering has anyone else had this happen? And does anyone else have any experience of af coming back after coming off cerazette? And if so how long did it take?

Not exactly answearing your question...but i came off the cerazette pill on the 11th Aug bk in 2008 ready ttc.
I had a bleed/period on the 15th for 3 days...i then ov on the 29th Aug ( i know as i used opk) i had a bfp on the 13th Sept & now have a ds.
Although its not what your question was, i just wanted to share it with you & to say that you may infact get pregnant in your first cycle :)

I came of cerazette mid april after 7 yrs on it. very light withdrawl bleed for about 4 days on 5th may and yesterday iv got AF which is a lot heavier and more like proper AF. Im hoping im back in a regular cycle now as we r TTC. Fingers crossed. I was worried as iv heard and read many horrible stories aft ppl comin of cerazette. Also i had a lot of pregnancy symptoms which are common coming of cerazette. Sore boobs, peeing alot, tired. Hope this helps a bit.

I came off Cerazette at the beginning of March, Never had AF while I was on it... we DTD a-plenty, and I had cramps but no sign of AF, a two week headache, nausea, bloating, tired, stroppy etc.. was convinced I was pregnant and tested every two weeks. At the beginning of May I had the most unbearable pains in my side, and then mid-May I finally had a bleed, which was medium-ish and lasted about 5 days. It was 74 Days between that and coming off it, so it took a while!
I was hoping I'd settle into cycles after this, so I am hoping that my body gives me some kind of Ov'ing signal, (anything apart from that pain!!) but so far nowt again. Bit frustrating!

I'm still waiting I've worked out I can do a pg test on the 7th if af still eludes me I'll keep you posted!

Literally as I've typed I've started to get the same pain but on the other side, and in theory it should tally up with a 'normal' cycle so I'm really hoping that's it sorted now! - I'd recommend Superdrug's own tests if you're planning a testing frenzy, they are a bit less pricey than the others!! good luck!! xx

Im hopin for a normal cycle now too ladies, had a withdrawl bleed 5th may, then on 29th may i started bleeding again however 2 days and gone altho was quite heavy i thought this was AF becoming regular. So dont no wats happening at the min, fingers crossed that i will ovulate and things will improve. Rooting for u all. Good luck
