I am already a mum to two beautiful children age 13months and 2.5yrs, however i am in a new relationship and me and my partner have decided we would like to try for a baby together. My previous pregnancies weren't planned so TTC is new to me despite being a mother. How long has it taken people on here or how long have people already been trying? I really want to fall pregnant quite quickly, as i suppose we all do. I think the gap between my youngest now would be perfect. I have bought ovulation kits etc but as yet not had a result to say i am ovulating. My partner and i have a very active sex life so planning isnt really an issue as we have sex everyday at least twice. I am just looking for a time frame really. TIA

Hi there! If you have a very active sex life then I wouldn't bother with any temping or using ovulation kits. You would get the timing right without, and would probably stay a lot more relaxed about it which helps Smile. There is not really any time frame that you can expect to fall pregnant. Women with no fertility issues can take anything from one cycle to over a year! There is just no knowing, and nothing you can do about it unfortunately. Just keep on having regular sex, and it'll happen Smile

Thanks Hanflan, we have only been actively trying for 4weeks so just being a little impatient and addicted to doing preg tests lol even though i know some dont show results until after 3weeks gone..... just excited to start a new journey with my fantastic new partner. He doesnt have children and has taken to my 2 brilliantly, he will make a fantastic father to both his own biological child and his now 2 adopted children
