clomid confusion

Firstly hi. This is my first time on mumsnet so be gentle!

Hopefully someone may be able to advise.

We have been ttc for 2 yrs after the birth of r first child. After inconclusive tests I was put on clomid. (I was ovulating ok but this was what the doc gave me). This month the opks said I hadn't ovulated, bbt said different and now I am 2 days late, have been having brown discharge for the past 6 days and my temp has remained high. Obviously I am hoping with every bone in my body that this might be our month. If I didn't ovulate could this brown discharge be my af? Would my temp not drop if it was?

Temp would have dropped if it was AF, for sure! It sounds like some sort of spotting so I would definitely do a test! Let us know how you get on. Good luck

OPKs aren't an exact science, I always struggled with them and found that bbt was a better way to detect ovulation for me.
If I were you, I'd be rushing out to get a pregnancy test!

It took a while to get a positive test when I was pregnant first time round for whatever reason, so Im not going to test until the weekend. Im totally distracted! Trying not to get hopes up. Will let u know. L
