TTC when husband works away

Hello,
My husband often works away from home for days or weeks at a time. Is anyone else in the same boat?
We are age 30 and 10 months of trying for #1.
It is frustrating knowing we are missing chances.
Any success stories/tips to cheer me up!!

Yup me! It's so tricky, we have been trying for 3 months frustratingly though he had been home at the right time each month but we've been unlucky so far. He is away now til the end of the year so baby making on hold :(
Just about to go into 2ww but I dont think it will be our month. Sorry not a very positive post from me lol

I shall keep my fingers crossed for you. Away till the end of year is a long time, I feel for you. At least when we do see our men we are at it like rabbits!!

Yep! DH working in Belgium, me in UK. We'll be together come August but at the moment it's tough. Couple that with shift work on my part and it'll be a miracle if we ever conceive a second!

I do worry that time is going to tick away I turn 31 soon. Kind of wish we had started sooner but it's only really now we have been in a position to get on with it!

I had my first when I was (almost) 30, ttc #2 - m/c in March at 32, still waiting for another bfp...

Yeah, wish i had started trying sooner too. I assumed it would be easy, used to totally panic if I took pill a few hours late!!
It will happen for us, just have to be more patient than most...
