April girls TTC, Part 3... BFP?!!! (It rhymes, so it must be true!)

Haha mr potato head!

I told my mom as soon as I found out as we are v close, we left it until the oter week to tel DH parents. I think they say wait to tell people incase something happens but I feel I would want the support of my mom if something were to happen.

I feel a little reassured but the consultant said at the pm appt I would have scans every other week and now he said every 4 weeks, although he could see I was getting upset about that so he said at my next appt with him he will look at it again and see how I feel

We told both sets of parents. To be honest the longer you can leave it the better. Now they have to be careful not to tell anyone and it's quite a few weeks to keep a secret.

OOh, great news on the job roll!
Well, I tested yesterday and I'll test first thing tomorrow but pretty sure it'll be bfn tomorrow either way, because tests are crappy ones from the net.
Part of me really wants to go and get a FR or Cb from the shop but the (dominant!) part of me is very, very lazy and can't be bothered... Also, if it's a bfn I'll feel like I've wasted money!
So basically, plan is to poas tomorrow with fmu, get a bfn, then wait anxiously for AF all day. If AF hasn't shown by this time tomorrow I'll treat myself to a FR, but not feeling too hopeful right now.

Lillamy that sounds like a good plan! I'm gonna try and wait it out now, determined not to waste any more tests!

I feel like I'll be much more fond of FRs when I actually see a second line on one, at the moment the white blankness just glares out at me and I want to throw it out the window...

I'm just so gutted that the first time it happened it was from one accident and we (or rather DP) wasn't ready I know it's pointless, but I keep thinking about the 18 month old we'd have had by now if I'd just continued the pregnancy like I wanted to

Lill u can't think of the past. Decisions are made for good reasons. It'll happen again n ull have ur beautiful little baby :) we all have got to keep positive and support each other. That's what this site is for

Me too pop and lill I totally loved reading about Lulu's scan today and would love that experience for myself but I daren't let myself dream like that as its heartbreaking getting bfns. I totally wish we could just be total if its going to happen or not then just get on and deal with it!

AF is due 2nd June for me but I might test Sun morning as I'm going away for work again next week. Not feeling any symptoms what so ever. Trying to be positive but don't want to get my hopes up.
