I had a cold poppet when I out so maybe its both!! Only just shaken it off. Being knackered definitely a symptom. Having to stand on train this morning nauseous and tired. Oh the joys!

Morning everyone! Thinking of you Ducky and Lulu!
I woke up this morning feeling very nauseous... glad I don't start work until 10:30 today.

Thanks Lillamyy. Am just waiting for DH to finish his shave- tidy up, then will help him dress. Knee improved.

We are both feeling nervous and a bit excited- incase they do a scan and. can actually see Smudge.

I have had a cold since just before I got my BFP! I still have it now! All sounding very positive

How many weeks are you now lulu? This first tri seems to be dragging.

I don't have to leave until 9.30 but only just realised all my pants have just been washed and are wet we hae no tumble dryer so I just threw a pair on and am running round the house to try and dry them! Will have to get the hair dryer on them in a min! Haha

As for everyone feeling nauseous I'm in there with u all! It's hit me again! I hate the feeling thinking ur about to throw up but u don't. U almost wish u were sick! I'm having a few cramps sorta like AF but lighter :s
I hope everyone's nausea calms down soon! :)

Tori think Iam going to read that next month my friend said it was good . Iam confused about it as well .I dont seem to have much (some but not that I really notice) until the last few days before af which wouldnt really make sense .Iam also having my monthly worry of do I ovulate ? Does anyone have any experience of this ? I have regular cycles that last 3/4 days .

We're back. Everything was fine. They had my blood results from last week and everything was petfect exceptmy thyroid was slightlylow so they have upped my dose of Thyroxine by 25 mcg. Have to have another test in a month and go back in 6 weeks. Then probably just midwife care if everything balanved then and regular bloods.

Did a scan- an internal scan. We saw Smudge! Heartbeat, head, bum but that was about it. They said 8 weeks 3 days which is more than we thought, but as I have said we are a bit feckless about all things to do with sex and conception. It was amazing seeing the 'baby'. I was just gobsmacked really and DH was all excited then he got emotional and they had to give him some tissues and he swore.

DD was 4th January - my mum and dad's wedding anniversary. But we were told first babies are usually late.

We asked consultant about risks and how high they are. He said 98% chance will have no probs at all. So that was reassuring.

We have been out for lunch- it's a lovely day up here and we sat outside an Italien restaurant we like and indulged ourselves with lovely food. Having a lie down now to recover.

Did a sneaky hot this morning, was bfn but still prob a bit too early to test. Going to wait til at least Friday now as I used up my last FRER! Grrrr. Why can't I just be a bit more patient?

Ive just had some tiny spotting which isnt completely unheard of at this point in my cycle but doesnt happen everytime . Theres mother nature again just messing things up !!

How was the internal lulu? I just got back.. Been at the hospital for almost 3 hours!

They did a scan and said baby was looking very good, bean even gave us a little wave they said it was very active and had a good strong heartbeat.

I was quite happy as it was the sonogropher who did my first scan with dd and he's very nice, the others can be a bit rude.

Ladies I need a slap .In the past hour I've googled different cm and what they all mean , what happens if you dont ovulate , infertility options etc etc . Ive diagnosed myself as having a hormonal imbalace ,cancer and being infertile . All in a days work for a ttc'er !!

Good news about the scans. Nice to be put forward a few days Lulu. They put me back a week so now first trimester feels even longer!

Ducky Iam considering going to the gp next month . I never go to the dr and I know they wont do anything
but might make me feel better !!

They may be able to do some tests poppet and if they say no kick off! I would that is what they are there for!

It sucks having dates put back!

I have another scan in 3 weeks (12 week) then I have 20 then 26 and when I have the 26 week one I will see the consultant again and will organise how often I will have them after that.

Ducky Scan was fine. I have had an internal scan before so knew when they said exactly what it is. Although if they had known how far on I am, I think they would have tried an ordinary one first. Anyway, no problems. There was not that much to see but could definitely see head and bum and heartbeat. DH said was shaped a bit like Mr Potato Head- must take after him!

Now he wants to tell PIL based on what the consultant said but I still think it is too early. When did anyone else tell other people? We are going down to stay with them on Thursday morning until Saturday morning-I don't know if he will be able to not tell them.

Poppet Don't Google! It tells you every minute possibility, however rare. I once went to GP convinced I had endometrial cancer. She said within 30 seconds what she thought it was and she was right- a polyp.

I have just slept soundly for over 2 hrs. That's because I hardly slept past night.

Ducky- you sound as if you are going to be well monitored. Did that reassure you a bit?

Aaah the scan news is so exciting!!!! I can't even imagine seeing the little beans!! Congrats to you both

I'm getting sooo bored of waiting. AF's due tomorrow and I'm going to poas first thing but got a feeling the tests I've got are crap. Then all day at work I'll be waiting for AF and if it comes I'll be GUTTED!
Got to plan some fun stuff to do in case AF comes to cheer myself up...

Oh, and oppet, don't worry too much, I reckon some people get more cm than others... this sounds reeeeeally gross but if you wipe or use your finger 'up there' after you've had a poo there tends to be more.. I think the straining dislodges it or something? Sorry, tmi but useful
