Those bloody flashing smiley faces!!!

Hi ladies,

Just wondering if any of you have some advice or similar experiences.

I started clomid this month (2-6) and have been using the cb digital opk. I got my first flashing smiley face (high fertility) on day 15 and then again 16, 17, 18, and again today.

When will I get my solid face (peak fertility)????

Is it possible to miss the LH surge which makes a solid face as I had a lot of cramping etc the end of last week and over weekend but that's gone now.

I'm ready to punch that stupid flashing face?

Any help would be greatly appreciated x

Hi blondie. Why are you on the clomid? It's likely to be inaccurate because of your cycles/hormones. I was advised by my fertility dr not to use opks when on or off clomid. I had 11 flashing ones once! They are too expensive

They def are too expensive! I'm on clomid cos I wasn't ovulating even though I was having a one day period?.....

How'd you know when you're ovulating without them?

Or do you just dtd all month long??!!x

I recommend temping instead, much much cheaper haha. That will tell you for sure whether you are ovulating! If you sign up to fertility friend it tells you all you need to know on there :)

Or dtd every 2 or 3 days all month long is a much more fun way to go about it

I tried temping before but I'm not a great sleeper and as a result my chart looked like a heartbeat reading!

Im rubbish at temping as well so I dont do either now. I just dtd every 3 days. I do internet cheapy opks very occasionally but ive ran out now and prob wont buy again. Ive been ttc a while now though so im just going back to basics!
