..seems that everyone has af pains at least the same as usual if not much worse when they get their bfp..

anyone had the opposite? where af due and any usual gripes & pains are noticeably absent?

tks :-)

bump sorry

(am presuming impatience can be a symptom of af, being pg AND just being a woman of course)

I have never had ovulation pains. Have conceived 17 times and had 9 successful pregnancies. Ovulation pain not a necessity although I suppose it could be helpful when timing bd-ing. So maybe the ladies with the strong 'o' pain knew when to do the deed and so were successful that month.

I have been pregnant twice and on neither time did I have any cramping before AF due. With my dd I did start to get period like pains a couple of days after my bfp, however.

I am sure there are plenty of people who don't get any af pains.

The most obvious sign that i was pregnant for me was no af symptoms at all.at first anyway.

Ooops - sorry that's what I get with rushing around and trying to post at the same time. Read af as ov.
So my real reply - yes I had period pains when af was due sometimes mild and sometimes same as usual. The degree of pain was also no indicator of the outcome.

DreamingIguess · 30/08/2006 16:06

thanks juuule

Dreaming - I'm with you on this one- I have analysed - to death- any sypmtoms web sites and found that it just varies. i should know this having been pg 3 times, but i can't help it.

I'm waiting with you-am testing Fri- so i wish you incredible good luck!!!!

tigerpaws · 31/08/2006 13:35

am waiting to find out too. I am having period type pains today (5 days early) and a tiny bit of bleeding. Am hoping this is a sign of implantation. It's so hard having to wait to do test. I just want to know! will test again at weekend. Good luck to you with yours!
