Viola HPT

Just wanted to post to say I tried a viola HPT today. It appealed as it claims to identify hcg just 8 days after conception, due to allegedly having a 5 iu sensitivity ( rather than 10 iu for my cheapies.)

I wish I'd listened to other posters on this forum and just got a frer as I was originally going to do!

Been testing with internet cheapie a for 3 days, with faintest of faint lines for 2 days. Followed re instructions for viola with fmu this morning and absolutely nowtyet a still faint, but more visible line on my cheapies!

(Would share a pic but dunno how - Luddite!)

AF is due tomorrow, but I'm fairly confident she has gone on a visit elsewhere for a while. I'm hoping the lines, however faint, do not lie! Today is 15 dpo and cd 29 in a long cycle.

Anyway, just posting FYI, and to see what other posters think of Viola.

Update - looked at viola stick an hour later. (They say not to read it after 20 mins). There is finally a line, but I don't trust it as it's outside the time. Won't be buying them again!

Thanks Finickity! Trying to not get too excited til 2nd trimester, given my history.

I'm off in hol for a week this Saturday. Do you reckon I should wait til I come back before referring myself to maternity services? I'd like an early reassurance scan if I can, just to see if things are on track. (Last time, buns was growing slower than expected before not making it).

I'm torn between self-referring to get on the system this week, and waiting a week or so, just to make sure it's a certainty. What would you do?
