Loving the royal MN-ness chat. How funny would it be if Kate did pop on here and join in with our penis dragon bus?! Ha ha. Oh the headlines...

"Kate and Wills: are they having another baby OR a baby dragon? MN penis dragon chat reveals all..."

Ha ha ha

Oh I'm in a happy mood this morning! >giggles away to herself

theduchesse · 16/05/2014 09:18

So sorry tooth that's so frustrating. Limbo land is horrible.

Oh retro I so hope we have another bfp on the way. This is shaping up to a pretty lucky bus. We might even be nearing april's tally only half way through the month (but I think april was a bit rubbish if I remember rightly).

I love that you thought of me ginger. Although the reasons for my nickname are not quite as spectacular as actually being a duchesse. My favourite beer is called the duchesse of burgundy and I was drinking one when I signed up so it became my nickname. I do wonder how it makes me come across though. I am far from a lady (hence the drinking beer, and drinking so much beer I spent an entire Belgian holiday sampling different beers to find my favourite one).

I hadn't thought of ovulation bleeding kitty. I best jump DH this afternoon when he wakes up from night shift just in case. One handy thing about the pox is that DH and I are actually home at the same time occasionally to dtd.

I'm glad to be a role model silver. Who needs sleep when there's babies to made?

MrsGingerbread · 16/05/2014 09:42

duchesse

RetroHippy · 16/05/2014 10:19

duchesse, I live the idea of conveniently coming down with an infectious disease just to be home together round O-time! Might try that next month.

Been googling photos of evap lines vs faint positives. Apparently having the morning off to plan wasn't such a good idea after all...

MissMrsMummy · 16/05/2014 10:21

Retro yes I think the only way to cope when shitty things like this happen is to think that there is a good reason behind it! Hope it all works out soon xx

RetroHippy · 16/05/2014 11:01

Just requested details for a couple of PPA cover jobs. Nothing permanent, but still for the same council so may leave will transfer across.

MissMrsMummy · 16/05/2014 11:49

Good thinking Retro Hope you get something!

spinningirl10 · 16/05/2014 12:15

Retro. Any news on the house?

hedwiggity · 16/05/2014 13:14

would just like to announce i have finally got a Clearblue fertility monitor and i am so happy !! AF isnt even bothering me right now i feel that ecstatic!!,does anyone else have one ?? no idea how to use it

toothachereturns · 16/05/2014 13:47

Feeling very down today. Mixture of hormones and disappointment I suppose.
How common is it to be a couple of days late, get a BFN (Clearblue Digital) and turn out to be pg?
My boobs are really sore, I'm shattered and have very unpleasant cramps. Sad Hate this.
I'm going out tonight and thought I would know for sure 1 way or the other by now..... to Wine or not to Wine ?

spinningirl10 · 16/05/2014 14:58

Hedwigg, i can't help you with the cb but you might find something on conception board if you do a search.

Tooth, it's very unfair you're waiting! I have read of ladies taking longer to get their bfp so all is not over.

KittyVonCatsington · 16/05/2014 16:15

tooth - CB Digis are not sensitive at all. When I got my BFP, I never had a positive on those, only FRERS. Get yourself one of those, missy!

toothachereturns · 16/05/2014 16:29

oh wow really Kitty! its the first time I've used them. I don't think I like the brutal way it delivers the NOT PREGNANT message either. Hmm

I will try a FRER tonight before I start on the wine!

MissMrsMummy · 16/05/2014 16:41

Ooh good luck toothache!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/05/2014 17:03

Sorry to but in ladies!!!! Does anyone over here have pregnant cat experience? I posted in litter tray but it's ever so quiet and just got told off in chat. Blush

Can cats get morning sickness? BlushBlush

KittyVonCatsington · 16/05/2014 17:20

Absolutely they can! I remember very clearly my childhood cat called Clementine got morning sickness when she was pregnant. Think we took her to the vets as it was quite frequent and she was a little dehydrated.
Poor MrsE 's cat!

OP posts:
lindamagoo · 16/05/2014 17:38

MrsE my cat had ms, was such a wee shame, just try and get her to drink as much water as possible

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/05/2014 17:42

She's not been sick to my knowledge, just takes one bite out of food having asked for it, then leaves it, miaowing at me. I'm trying a few different varieties. She's very happy, although following me around the house like a lost sheep. I think she might be about 5 weeks. Her tummy has started to get bigger. Smile She's so pretty I do wonder what's going to come out the other end Grin

MissMrsMummy · 16/05/2014 18:35

What will you do with all the kittens Mrs and how long is a cat pg for? Aw I hope she feels better soon!

What did you get told off for?! Tee hee!

Treaclepie19 · 16/05/2014 18:40

MrsE you made me nearly cry talking about your cat being 5 weeks and having beautiful kittens. Dan emotions!

RetroHippy · 16/05/2014 19:16

Woop!! We have a mortgage!! All signed, just waiting on some docs for the upper chain before we can go ahead.

T. F. I. Friday!!!

Spotti · 16/05/2014 19:59

Echo that Retro!

Although mine is being somewhat tainted by the fact that I'm now getting AF-like cramps and found some brown blood in my knickers earlier when I got in from work (sorry tmi)...not expecting the witch until 23rd (next Friday) but now I'm fearing she is on her way Sad.

Not only does that mean I might not be upduffed this month, it also means that my cycles have now changed length and I have NO IDEA when my next BFP will be due >insert even sadder looking face here

RetroHippy · 16/05/2014 20:15

implantation bleed Spotti?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/05/2014 20:41

Spotti def implantation until proven otherwise timing is just right for that.

I think normal gestation for a cat is about 65ish days. So not long. Fx she waits until after half term and the dc are back to school. It will be much quieter for her.

I swear kittens are a brilliant distraction from ttc myself. Fortunately I've had 2 home births so I've given my cat the low down on home birthing, lol. She was listening intently. Wink

We think its only 2 kittens. Which does seem like a very small litter, but vets will double check in couple of weeks. So have given my sister first refusal as her 14 yr old cat died a few weeks ago. Her hb is being a bit of a spoil sport though. If not some very good friends of mine both messaged me separately trying to surprise the other one. They want one. But the dc I know will want us to keep one. I'm not sure I could give them all away Sad but both homes are lovely.

Clearly the "oh dear how could you let that happen" question? Wasn't answered with, well I was trying very hard to get myself upduffed and er.....

KittyVonCatsington · 16/05/2014 20:45

That old chestnut, MrsE Wink

I too second an implantation bleed. Ideal timing at around 7dpo. As long as it stays pink or brown, those are typical implantation colours, Spotti so you have every reason to believe a BFP is around the corner.
