hi
hope you guys dont mind me venting here as new to the site

have 2 girls 6 and 4 came off depo in march and trying to concieve since my cycle all over the place but spotting and pain seem to have calmed down for now

been taking ovulation tests non stop for about 4 weeks and not a single +ve begining to feel like im redundant of making babies at just 24

i know it takes ages to get jab out of your system but i was preganat within 6 months of coming off it before and the fact i dont seem to be oving is worrying me

and to top it off my boobs have been sore for 3 days running just my nipples so sensitive (sorry tmi i know) just getting me down now took me so long to persuade dp to try and im worried he will have changed his mind by the time i get pregnant in 2020

sorry rant over just feeling sorry for myself

Don't worry - absolutely normal to take up to a year for depo to come out your system, you may have just been extra lucky before.
I know that may not be what you wanted to hear but wanted to reassure you nothing unusual in it
Naturally you will be disappointed as time goes on but just keep at it - 24 is still very young, you have plently of time so enjoy practicing!

Hi,
Had my last Depo injection June 2004 took 1 year for periods to return they are regular but very light had a gynae apt recently.I am also doing ovulation tests but no + eithre.Told Gynae this but she did nt make much of it said that my periods are regular so looks like i am ovulating.I am booked in for a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy +- D+C on 9 th of Oct just to make sure alls ok.Seems Depo can take a long time to get out of your system every one is different and seems to take longer for some.I am 29 yrs old so have time on my side
