I'm a bit confused by, well, everything! I'm hoping some of you lovely ladies might be able to help me.
So, last weekend we decided to stop taking the pill and start our journey of TTC. I've been on Cerazette for the past 3 years without any break, the last day I took it was last Sunday morning at around 8am. We then had sex Monday morning, Friday evening and yesterday morning. My OH asked if I've taken a pregnancy test yet, not quite understanding how it all works. I told him no but it got me thinking.
How does it all work after taking the pill? I took it last on the Sunday, then I had a light bleed/period Tuesday-Thursday/Friday. Is that just a withdrawal bleed (I don't normally have one monthly as it's a pill you take every day) or is it a period and so a sign that my body is returning to normal?
How do periods and ovulation relate to each other when coming off the pill? Do you not ovulate until after a period or does it vary according to the person?
It's so confusing, I just don't know what's going on in my body at all. This is all new territory for me!
