Massive congratulations mrsb!!!

madasacatter · 04/06/2014 09:15

Really glad to hear that you're getting treatment Chandlers Good lucky this weekend!

I am worried that I may have the same as you - strong family history. On the other hand, both my mum and aunt who had to have IVF for their first, conceived naturally for their second.
I had my first very young, and can only hope that it might have helped IFYSWIM.
Anyways, enough of my worrysome self - bring on all the bfp's ladies :)

jdear · 04/06/2014 09:17

misst Just read your news, thinking of you - keep us updated!

hanflan · 04/06/2014 09:19

MrsBee Congratulations! That is an impressive set of piss-sticks you have there. Gorgeous clear line on the FRER too. Ooooh I love FRERs, it's like proper poas porn Grin

hanflan · 04/06/2014 09:20

And misstiggi I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's all ok. Hopefully it was just far too early for them to see anything on the scan!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 04/06/2014 09:30

Congrats MrsBee Smile

freneticfox · 04/06/2014 09:35

Question... what's a FRER?

hanflan · 04/06/2014 09:37

First Response Early Result :)

freneticfox · 04/06/2014 09:41

Thank you!

I'm now officially into 'late' territory, I think. Only by one day, so not exactly skipping with joy yet...

MiniLop · 04/06/2014 09:42

Congrats MrsB! This is going to be a lucky bus for us, I can feel it!

Chandlers that sounds really promising, good luck!!

After saying on Saturday AM that I had no ov symptoms, Sat PM & Sun AM I had some cramps / lower back pain and shed loads of EWCM! So hopefully that means I ov'd. DH and I made the most of it Wink
So I'm guessing I'm 3dpo today if Ov was Sunday.

Who's next to poas? Good luck!

hanflan · 04/06/2014 09:43

Eeeeeek frenetic that sounds promising!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 04/06/2014 09:46

Oh and Kitty - I'm glad you've found temping useful! It definitely helped me understand my cycles!

Aprilray · 04/06/2014 09:55

Congratulations MrsBee so happy for you.

Misstiggi, sorry to hear you've had such a tough time. FX your blood tests and scan go well today.

For ladies who temp, I came across this link this morning;

www.mymonthlycycles.com/bbtadjust.jsp

Basically if you have to temp earlier or later than usual you can put the info in and it will adjust your temp. Mine was 36.56 at 7am (very close to pre ov temps) and I usually test at 8am and it adjusted it to 36.67 which is a bit better. Not sure how accurate it is though.

Frenetic when are you planning to poas again?

MrsBeeBeeBee · 04/06/2014 10:01

chandlers I'm super excited for you! Know what you'll be up to this weekend.

frenetic and viperama my cycle buddies, really hope for good news from you too.

Good luck to the Friday poas-ers!

freneticfox · 04/06/2014 10:04

I'm still not 100% sure I have my cycle figured out.. I had my implant removed last year and then came off the pill in January - we stuck to good old analogue condoms - and since Feb my cycle has been 28-30 days on the nose. Today is day 31 and I keep 'feeling' like AF is arriving (we all know that gross sensation) but I go to the loo and it's lucas. (TMI, sorry!)

I felt really sick yesterday as well. My body is definitely having a good old laugh at my expense!

If I'm still not seeing AF by Friday, I'll be POAS then!

kurama · 04/06/2014 10:07

have a good weekend chandlers Wink sorry to anyone having a bad time and congrats mrsbeeGrin

spinningirl10 · 04/06/2014 10:43

Yay Congratulations Mrs.BeeGrin

Chandler, pleased everything is going well for you, sounds exciting to be told what's going on inside you!

hanflan · 04/06/2014 10:49

Sorry guys, bit of a "me me me" post coming up, but I'm having a low day and need to vent :(

I'm getting more an more convinced, for a number of reasons, that this month hasn't been successful. I know it's only been a few months, but I can't stop thinking "what if something is wrong?" and that we'll just keep trying and trying and nothing will happen. I know it's stupid, and it's still relatively early days, and lots of people try for longer than us and then get upduffed successfully! But I just can't shake it.

Second issue is that DH and I booked a holiday to Italy in September. I had naively hoped that we would be upduffed at least a few months along by then but as the months go by this is looking increasingly unlikely. The problem is, if I get upduffed in the next few months, is it sensible to go abroad? I know that so many women miscarry in the first few weeks and so would it be silly to go on holiday in this time?!

I know I'm getting ahead of myself, and it's silly, but I'm having a low and tearful day! Someone slap me! haha

freneticfox · 04/06/2014 11:00

hanflan sorry you're feeling low :( sending positive vibes/digital hugs your way.

I know the feeling about worry - we're only on month #1 of trying and already I'm thinking doomy thoughts. I myself was an IVF baby in the early 80s, so of course I'm concerned that my fertility is defective, even though my GP assures me it probably isn't.

Not sure on the holiday issue, I defer to someone with a little more experience.. my only reservation would be potentially travelling while suffering with morning sickness, I think!

Aprilray · 04/06/2014 11:08

Trust me, I have been there Hanflan, this ttc business is so much harder than I thought. Don't be hard on yourself. I just keep telling myself it will happen when it is meant to. It wouldn't be silly to go on holiday at all - Italy will be lovely in September and the relaxation will do you good Smile
Maybe treat yourself to a wee Wine and some Cake this evening.

gennibugs · 04/06/2014 11:12

Morning all

congratulations mrsbeee!!

hanflan I think we all feel like that sometimes. I don't think anyone realised how difficult and stressful ttc is. I envy those who get upduffed first month or when they aren't really trying. which all of my friends claim is what happened to them Sad

chandlers that all sounds promising! I love know where I'll be heading when I visit SE Asia later this year if I'm STILL trying Wink

hanflan · 04/06/2014 11:34

You girls are lovely. I don't know what I would do without you guys! This little community is fab. It's somewhere to vent when we can't do it to our real life friends :)

xBlueberry88x · 04/06/2014 12:39

Afternoon Ladies,

Congrat Mrsb

Hanflan I know the feeling I kind of always knew there was something that wasnt quite right and now I know im not ovulating it doesnt make me feel any better lol. Just try and be positive the doctors dont start worrying until a year so you shouldnt either easier said then done I know
Italys lovely go and enjoy yourself.

Chandlers seems the doctors are doing well for you good luck.

After the mass of ewcm yesterday yuck i jumped on dp lol...still some today but not as much. Also have a bit of lower back pain which ive had last month as well.

Ladies what ovulation symptoms do you have?

hanflan · 04/06/2014 12:46

Thanks blue :)
With regards to ovulation pains, mine is very sharp on my left side and feels a lot like when you get stitch when you are exercising!
Although lots of ladies on here have said theirs is more like period cramps so yours sounds promising!
