Right, I'm officially back on the bus ladies, but we won't be ttc this month. So I'll just sit quietly and cheer you all on. (And eat Cake ).

Stats -
MrsGingerbread ttc #1, cycle 4, mc cycle 3, taking a month off to wave pompoms.

laurano81 · 23/05/2014 08:17

hedwiggity kittyvoncatsington I do the same all the time! I just love looking at pushchairs especially! My sister had a baby 2 years ago so she kindly donated all her neutral newborn clothes...We have a car seat & base, a changing unit, baby swing, bouncer, moses basket & baby monitors..I started buying stuff after we got married Oct 2013, when they were on offer! My DH at first thought I was mad, but he then saw the logic in it when he saw how expensive baby stuff are. We joke now that we have everything for a baby, we just need a baby now..Smile Hurry up little one! We are waiting for you Wink lol... Fingers crossed it won't be long! It keeps the dream alive I reckon xx

Stepawayfromthezebras · 23/05/2014 09:08

Gosh, I hope you're OK Chandlers - it seems to all be peaceful over there (as peaceful as a coup can be!) but it must be a bit worrying for you. And yes, looking on the bright side it would make a great conception story! Grin
I read that people were doing emergency stockpiling shopping just in case. I bet your supplies were a bit different to everyone else's?!

spinningirl10 · 23/05/2014 09:30

Kitty I just love that list, sad that I do most of those things Grin

10dpo and a bfn this morning....will keep poas but i don't feel pregnant!

hanflan · 23/05/2014 11:30

Accidently posted this on the May bus! Realised this thread is where it belongs really as I well and truly got chucked off that bus a while ago haha:
Whoaahhhh TMI alert: Tons of ewcm today! I'm only cd10 and don't usually get any until cd13-14 ish. I'm doing the old cough medicine trick this month though and started taking it this morning, would it have had such an effect already?!
Will do an opk this afternoon and make sure we dtd tonight just in case!

ChandlersFarang · 23/05/2014 11:35

Aaah spinning, come on, am rooting for you!!

Thanks zebras! Ain't no other barsteward in this town getting their hands on any pink grapefruit juice... Put it that way!!!! Hahaha!! Was sent out to stock the cupboards by DH last night who is flat out at work dealing with coup-related stuff. Pretty fucked off that the army did this the week I ovulate - I do sort of need DH at home and not stressed to the eyeballs!! Managed a cheeky one this morning while he was half asleep the poor devil...! Wink

It's pretty quiet on the streets and the curfew means we aren't allowed outside after 22:00 every night now... Although shop, bar and restaurants are closing long before that to ensure their staff can get home! So this is going to be a really fun weekend. Have had to cancel everything. Oh well, bought yeast in case we need to bake our own bread - might as well give it a test run!! Rock n roll!!

hanflan · 23/05/2014 11:37

Chandlers more time being stuck inside means more time for baby making Wink

Stepawayfromthezebras · 23/05/2014 11:50

Pink grapefruit juice and yeast, hilarious! Here's to buns in the oven Smile

ChandlersFarang · 23/05/2014 12:12

Ha ha from some of the custard chat on the last bus I should be careful with that yeast!!!!!!!! Don't want to accidentally get my hopes up, lolz...!

Hanflan that is a good way of looking at it! Will try to detain DH here with me instead of his office. I work from home so no chance of much distraction!

xBlueberry88x · 23/05/2014 14:37

Afternoon Ladies,

I cannot wait for AF to bugger off my god this one hurts...I hope im never a week late again unless im pg

I havent bought any baby stuff even though weve been trying for 15 months...the only baby thing I have is a pair of diddy blue socks my nan gave me years ago because she thought id be the next to have kids.

FX Spinning.

Hi Ginger a relaxing month sounds like a good plan.

Doctor just called and said there some paper work from the hospital to pick up looks like I might have a gynae appointment alot quicker than the doctor said so worried they wont help me because im a bit over weight

pyrowall · 23/05/2014 16:16

question for you ladies
have any of you taken norethisterone to delay AF while you've been TTCing?
I ask as we're off on holidays in mid-June which is around when AF is due but obs also around POAS day!

hanflan · 23/05/2014 16:27

Just looked it up and found this:

In the case of Ethinylestradiol/Norethisterone:

do not take this medicine during pregnancy
this medicine may harm your baby if taken during pregnancy
if you become pregnant, or think you have become pregnant while taking Ethinylestradiol/Norethisterone, you must contact your prescriber

This medicine is not suitable during pregnancy. Your prescriber will only start your treatment with this medicine once they are certain that you are not pregnant. If you are planning to become pregnant you should discuss with your prescriber or family planning nurse when it is best to stop Ethinylestradiol/Norethisterone.

hanflan · 23/05/2014 16:28

So yeah, I wouldn't take it if you are ttc this cycle, as if you do happen to be pregnant then it won't do much good to the little bean! Sad

pyrowall · 23/05/2014 16:42

Oh bugger, that's what I thought! It's not a beach holiday so not too much to worry about - just have to remember to pack sanpro in case!

I'll discuss with doc when I see her in a few days.

KittyVonCatsington · 23/05/2014 17:43

Tmi alert-have been exploring my CM a little more this cycle. How can you tell, ladies, if DTD a lot, if you just have a spunk/jiz thing going on, or if it is a particular cm. can't tell if I'm dry, sticky or leftovers ewwww!

FX you get yor appt sooner rather than later Blueberry Grin

hedwiggity · 23/05/2014 17:54

LOL kitty ive been exploring more recently too been dry as bone past few months got lots of clear cm the other day Grin never been so happy to see it in my life. least i can cut back on the pre seed now
does anyone else know of water based lube that doesn't cost the earth ? im allergic to latex and all the durex products and most other lubes we have tried but pre seed works great its £15 for a teeny tube and 9 applicators though is concieve plus any better ? i checked the MLs on the tubes and they seem more for less money that the pre seed

hedwiggity · 23/05/2014 17:57

also it sound insane and i know a lot of people will tell me off for this but i like to clean myself out internally the day after dtd i don't want old junk clogging up my cervix Blush i use a cotton wool ball and swab/swivel it around my cervix when i take it out its always covered boak otherwise it would just stay clogged up there as the the urinary tract doesn't go anywhere near the cervix. TMI i know lol

KittyVonCatsington · 23/05/2014 18:25

Hedwig - I’ve used both Balance Activ and Conceive Plus and both are the same and pretty good (Got a non-sticky BFP using Balance Activ but a little pricier) Going to stick with Conceive Plus, methinks Grin

KittyVonCatsington · 23/05/2014 18:31

Sorry tooth! I missed out a second * on your name. How are you my lovely? Hope you beginning to feel a little better.

Treaclepie19 · 23/05/2014 18:45

Hi everyone, can I sit and watch please?
Feeling a bit lonely so happy to watch you get your bfp's if that's ok? :)

Treaclepie19 · 23/05/2014 18:47

Should add I'm not done bleeding from mc yet so probs won't be trying til late July earliest but I can't bear not seeing how youre all getting on.

MrsGingerbread · 23/05/2014 18:59

Treacle - come and sit with next to me my dear.

I'm in exactly the same position (not sure how long the bleeding lasts) - but we can wave pom poms for these guys and share Cake . How does that sound?

I'm not sure when we will try ttc again, but I definitely want to see how all these guys get on.

Xx

MrsGingerbread · 23/05/2014 19:01

Treacle - I have also joined the ttc after a miscarriage thread, there are some lovely ladies on there too (including some familiar ones). They have already made me feel very welcome.

KittyVonCatsington · 23/05/2014 19:18

Brew and Cake for all! It wouldn't be the same without you two. I've come to regard you as friends and hope we can all be there for each other, whenever needed.
