Oooh Phoenix my cycle 8 this month too BFP due in July though as im cbfm and it needs a month to get to know me got an evap line on first cbfm test today and it shot my spirits sky high Grin i know its an evap line but still Shock

Phoenix860 · 21/05/2014 16:48

good stuff! I've got the cheap One Step OPK but I'm thinking of upgrading, the count down begins...again!

KittyVonCatsington · 21/05/2014 19:30

I have the OneStep ones too Phoenix Grin Been using the cb Digi ones for 4 months but too expensive for my cycles that are really long. Only got one solid smiley one month and that is coz I randomly re-tested in the afternoon once. Did get another solid the next month but stick window was flooded and I couldn't use the stick again. 13 flashing smileys is my record but then ran out of sticks to keep testing.

For my needs, going to PIAC twice a day starting tomorrow. Bought little plastic shot glasses especially Smile

MrsVWSM28 · 21/05/2014 20:20

Evening all - 13 whole days to wait for my BFP and I'm now bored! That two whole weeks of torture TWWORT if you will... Now 5dpo and beginning to wonder if each little niggle or pang is a sign??!!

I have to tell you all as it's still making me chuckle - I kept a small plastic cup under the sink to pee in whilst I was trying to work out when I was ovulating this month (rinsed after use obvs) and said to DH 'don't touch that cup I've pee'ed in it" lo and behold the next day the cup has moved to beside the sink... "Darling?!" I ask, "have you drunk from the little red cup that was under the sink??!!" "Yes, why?!" He asks... Cue laughing so hard I snorted and nearly pee'ed again!! His face was an absolute picture!!

KittyVonCatsington · 21/05/2014 21:07

Hilarious MrsV! Reminds me of a conversation I had with DH earlier, he said that you can tell someone is trying for a baby when the Big 'O' no longer refers to orgasm, but instead to ovulation Grin

hedwiggity · 21/05/2014 23:03

Could i be added to the stats please Wink
Hedwiggity 20 TTC#1 BFP due july Grin

misstiggiwinkle · 22/05/2014 07:33

So it's symptom spotting central over in the MissT house. Yesterday, I'm not kidding when I say I pee'd 23 times. Normally I go maybe 4/6 times a day- never 23! Either I've got an infection (which I don't think I do as no pain) or...fx'd.

I may have caved this morning and poas...obv at 7dpo it's -ve but after much squinting and holding to the light I'm sure I saw a shadow. There are straws and I'm clutching!

laurano81 · 22/05/2014 08:01

ChandlersFarang · 22/05/2014 14:18

Soooo, it was all getting a bit dull around here, CD17, shuffling around after work, still waiting for my LH surge... When thank god, along comes a military coup here to take my mind off things! Wink

It was around the time they were announcing an army-enforced curfew and shutting down all the TV channels when I thought, "ooh, now this WOULD make a cool conception story"!! Is that normal?! Grin

Welcome to the latest passengers! We are a bus that supports everyone, no matter what they have gone through or how long TTC and for that, I am grateful. Sorry to read your post lauren. Hopefully we can all look forward to some better times.

I'll post latest updates soon

Till then, came across a site with hilarious quotes and thought I'd post them to cheer everyone up Grin

- you show everyone who will look at your bbt charts

- every twinge is a potential sign: ovulation pain OR perhaps implantation

it no longer strikes you as the least bit odd to check out at the pharmacy with both HPTs and tampons in your cart.

- you schedule your social events around your ovulation day

- if your OPK comes up +, you cancel all social engagements that night so you can BD & lie with your legs elevated and butt up in the air afterwards

- you talk using mysterious acronymns that only your ttc buddies understand: ttc, BD, ewcm, bbt, opk, 2ww

- your morning motto is: "Don't talk to me until I've taken my temperature"

- you take your temperature more than once a day (committed TTCer)

- you refuse to finish decorating that 3rd bedroom in your new house, because you can't stand the thought of getting it just the way you want it only to have to tear it apart next month in order to make room for the nursery you'll be needing.

- you put off buying any fall/winter clothes, because you hope they won't fit by the time the weather gets cooler.

- you clip coupons for OPKs and HPTs

- your doctor says, "Now take these home and inject this needle into your stomach every day" and you don't even flinch.

- you spend more on OPKs, HPTs, and fertility supplements than you do on clothes

- the thought of nausea makes your heart skip a beat!

- you make a mental note of what day of your cycle it is before you say "ok" to a drink

- you get sick but make sure you can take the medicine in case you are pregnant...and would rather stay sick if you can't take the medicine..

- you finally look forward to mornings! Another opportunity to take and record your temp!

- you refer (and think) of your husband, not as his real name, but as the letters "DH" in real life

- you suffer silently from Infertility Vision (IV) - defined as the ability to see pink lines that nobody else can see. It's a very common condition among POASers during the days leading up to the official test day. Research is still being done, but at present there is no cure for it!

onelifeonechance · 22/05/2014 18:00

Kitty - hilarious Grin Did I write this and forget because of the ttc madness brain ?!

misstiggiwinkle · 22/05/2014 18:08

Wineandchoccy · 22/05/2014 18:25

hedwiggity · 22/05/2014 22:29

Hmm TTC question lol Does anyone else looks at prams and baby stuff ?? i do all the time i know pretty much every brand and style of pram and all the baby clothes retailers etc Confused OH thinks im nuts but i just cant help it lol

KittyVonCatsington · 23/05/2014 06:42

You are not nuts hedwig-just prepared! I am even worse...my lovely sister has donated all her no longer used things my way and as she has a boy and girl, I am prepared for both! In my loft is pretty much everything bar a car seat. I am so lucky. So, whenever I see someone with our version of pram or sling etc. I give it a good look and even DH knows the brands now as he was the one who put them all into neat boxes etc.

First thing he said when he picked up the baby monitor was.. "350m hmmm does that reach the pub?!". Grin
