I dont know any for women but my dh found "the expectant dads handbook" by Dean Beaumont to be really good. It is aimed specifically at men and is readable and really informative.

I'm really enjoying bumpology - covers all the latest research and is very clear.

Another vote for Bumpology!

Hi
I don't know if this is the type of book your looking for but this book was recommended to me and i have read the introduction and enjoyed what i have read so far
Expecting Better:Why the conventional pregnancy wisdom is wrong and what you really need to know by Emily Oster . This is more like a autobiography/diary
If you have a kindle there is a free sample of the book you can download.

I have also been recommend another book but not personally read it. The day-by-day Pregnancy Book: Comprehensive advice from a team of experts and amazing images by Maggie Blott.

Hope you find them useful :)

I rather optimistically purchased 'your new pregnancy bible' when dh and I started ttc in December - the section on ttc is pretty basic (though the rest looks really informative).
5 cycles later and no BFP I bought 'the baby-making bible' and 'the impatient women's guide to getting pregnant' both really good but only cover the pre ttc and ttc part.
