I came off the pill last October and my periods started again straight away. They have been really regular (26-28 days) and about 3-4 days long. We used condoms until February and haven't since. Last week I got my period on CD27 but it was pathetic (only lasted a day and half really and was mainly brownish in colour). That's a week ago now and since then I've had the odd bit of mild cramping and my boobs are sore and heavy. I took a HPT last week and it was negative. I bought some more today but not sure if it's all in my head. There is some history of thyroid problems in my family and I wasn't sure whether or not to get that checked out in case it is an issue and is the reason for my short, light periods. I am 33 and my OH is 31, this is the first time TTC for both of us.
