One faint positive test then negative results, what's going on?

I'm three days late and have had a lot of pregnancy symptoms for about a week now. Suffering from a really sore lower back, period type pains and nausea/tiredness.

I had a faint positive a few days ago but since then all tests have been negative .

Has anyone else had a similar experience which ended with a positive test? Still trying to hold onto some hope.

Didn't want to read and run fem but have not experienced anything at all by way of lines but I hope you get BFP. I think false positives are VERY rare where false negatives do happen... Good luck
