I took a sainsburys digital test last night and it came back positive! Took the second in pack this morning it was negative. So went out and bought a clear blue digital, negative again! I'm gutted. Anyone got any experience of false positives? I'm 15 dpo af due yesterday!

I had a friend who had same experience. I would wait another day and try again. Maybe with a First Response (she IS pregnant BTW!)

Im not sure hun. Didnt want to leave your post unansweared tho. It is strange you got a BFP followed by 2 bfn's :-( Was it a strong positive too?

ThoraNomiki · 05/05/2014 16:44

Did you use FMU this morn for the BFN's? And how strong was the positive line?
Clear Blue isn't as accurate as other brands. It's more likely that you are having false negatives than false positives.

Thanks. The bfp was digital so it just said pregnant. Which is worse as I wouldn't be so gutted if it were a faint line. The second test (negative) was fmu. I think I'm counting myself out this month. Just wish I knew either way.

I had a false positive on a Sainsbury's test, not a digital one though
I'm sorry :(

Could you try a cheapo boots/asda non digital one? They tend to be quite sensitive.

Bless you. I would try another like thinkivbeenhacked suggests.
Good luck hun xx
