New thread for the 'for those ttc in april' ladies and anyone one else who wants to join in....

I dropped DS off at nursery and 1st time ever he screamed and screamed and never wanted to go! He normally loves nursery! :s
But yes I plan to finish work go home eat and then go to bed with a magazine and hopefully drop off for a few hours :p
And Mac, I drive round all day so I get to experience the sun whilst driving Inbetween service users houses :) so I'll get the best of both today!

It was all fine, not quite as far along as I thought (just over 6 weeks rather than 7), but all fine. very relieved, thanks for all the support x

Did they have any reason for the bleeding?

What's a HB? I just saw the sonographer who did scan. She said they usually can't find a reason for the bleeding on the scan but baby is fine. She gave me a number for the midwives in case it happens again. So tired now but rushing to work for a busy day!

They put me behind what I thought I was at my scan too but said at that stage their dating isn't very accurate so they recon il change by my 12 week

I'm about 5 dpo, and we did dtd the day before ov (according to app) but I have boob pain at the sides, like my ribcage?

Kato I always get twinges around my boobs but its more to do with af I think , everyones different though Kato and you timing sounds good !!

Just been to the loo and AF has finally arrived on CD37. Such a long cycle! I'm glad I didn't POAS again as I would've just been disappointed.

At least now I know where I am and can try and dtd at the right times this month - last month was cycle 1 after coming off the pill and I was working on the assumption that my cycle would be 28 days or thereabouts, so we probably weren't doing it at the right time at all.

I'm not too clued up on ovulation yet and I don't really want to start OPKs, but am I right in thinking that ovulation will occur roughly half way through the cycle? So i need to be dtd lots around day 18/19?

Sorry to hear that me you have long cycles like I do? Or do you think this is a one off?

I think the very best advice would be to DTD every other day sarting day after AF and if you get any sign of ov such as cm or ov pain DTD for the three days following?

It sounds like your cycles aren't settled into a pattern yet after coming off the pill so it would be difficult to say when you ov at this stage and you don't want to miss the window

And ov doesn't always occur half way through cycle, it will always be around 14 - 16 days before AF. I have long cycles and didn't ov until around day 28 - 29 this month

TTC is all so bloody confusing

Me, you sound like me 2 months ago !! People say day 14 is the day in a 28 day cycle but everyone is so different that how your body works is just how it works theres no rules !!annoyingly !! If you've a long cycle I could understand everyother day could drag !! Agree with ducky maybe you havent settled down into a regular cycle ?This my first month using opks and Iam not stressing about that as much as I thought I would

I hate the tww. Only 3 DPO and feels like I've been waiting forever !

As awful as it sounds I don't have a very high sex drive so dtd every other day is a bit much for me - my usual is about once a week! I think my cycle might just be a long one generally so I think I'll try and dtd every other day from about day 14 - day 25 and hopefully that will do the trick.

That doesnt sound awful, there have been times in our relationship when we havent had sex much and times its been more , different for different people !!

I'm on the 2ww too, can test next Thursday. Almost sure it's a BFN though :(

Don't forget I had no real symptoms in tww and was sure AF was going to come the only symptom I really had was AF type cramps but too early for it to be AF
