KittyVonCatsington 33, TTC #1, Cycle 6 (early mc cycle 3), BFP ???

Ooooh exciting stuff English and Ginger!!!!!

Caved in.... poas this morning, 4 days before af due. BFN. sigh.

Massive congratulations to the BFP ladies!

I'm fed up too. Went to the GP for something else and they did a pregnancy test. Negative. AF not due for 5 days, are GPs tests more sensitive than usual ones?

Had a little cry earlier after walking out of Next, getting my youngest nephew's first birthday present clothes

Just did some calculations and the last day we DTD, was on CD21 and if I go by the maximum a sperm can live (5 days) which takes me up to CD26, then today might, just might be 14dpo at CD40, so should be getting a BFP or AF. No sign of either. No cramping, but fist tightening sensations and I do feel sicky (not neasous per se but can't face eating sort of sick) and no sign of any AF, just very wet/creamy cm.

No option but to take it day by day-really hate my body at the moment-not only did it not protect my bean but is preventing me from trying again!!!

Wallow over. Actually very excited for your line English, you so deserve some good luck and I will be praying that line gets darker. Sending you a big virtual high five, my lovely!

Thanks gingerbread, just googled and you're right- the GP pee tests just seem to be Internet cheapie type, not even early detectors. I would never've taken a test 12 DPO so ill forget about it for now.

My Amazon order came through at the start of the week and included a bbt thermometer. So desperate for AF to appear so I can start temping, English-my little cry earlier was also a bit of self pity, in that I was annoyed with myself that I didn't start temping at the start of my last AF:thought CB digi opks would be enough - Gaaaaah!!!!

I'm CD6 now, so not yet time to DTD, but enjoying the license to still eat runny eggs and drink! Went to Vinopolis yesterday (in London - has anyone been?). DH had an experience gift voucher, which includes educational chat (how to swirl and swerp, etc), tasting different of your choice and dinner! We quite enjoyed it and decided to treat ourselves to a couple of pricey bottles from the shop too!

Having said that though, although I'm CD6, I had some weird temp readings today. So far I'd been .6 .4 .4 .4 .4, which is quite good. Normally I get the ov dip of .2 on CD13, so we start DTD from around CD11. But this morning when I first woke up I got .1, couldn't believe it and tried again and it was .2 ... Anyway got up, went wee and went back to bed. When i finally woke up (around 11am!! ) it was .6. So what do I record? I don's suppose it's early ov..?

Think we're all entitled to have a little cry and a wallow Kitty, TTC is all consuming, especially when you been through mc and dodgy cycles. At least the temping will show you if you have ovulated so you won't have that wondering. Indulge in some wine for now.
Silver- sounds like you had fun! I'd love to go to vineopolis but DH is not a wine drinker! Maybe with the girls one day (in 9 months!). Your temps have got me confused! Let lone you! I think you can only really confirm ov after a few days of high temps. I don't always get a dip at ovulation.

It might have been to do with the but I thought that normally brings it up... I'm discounting the .6 because you're supposed to do it the very first thing before you've got up and after at least 3 hrs sleep. But I wonder if it should be the average of .4 . Will see if it stays up tomorrow.

I think you're readings might but a bit all over the place because of the differing times you took temp? My temp does go high after about 9am. Doing it at 4 or similar of I wake for a pee is unreliable also

I wouldn't worry too much about temping kitty, I did it last month and stressed myself out so much about it that I chucked it this month. Yes it showed ovulation but so does CM and bastard sticks! And it showed my rise but I ended up having a chemical anyway! I was so caught up in temping as soon as I'd wake up that I used to wake up wide awake at 130am thinking it was time to temp. I figured a good nights sleep would be much better for my body. Have now moved my obsessing from BBT to extra vitamins. Am taking pregnacare, extra vitamin b6, vitamin d, cough syrup and baby aspirin. There is mixed opinion on the baby aspirin but my sis in law is a doc and recommended extra vitamin d and baby aspirin. Am also using preseed and doing SMEP! Although my friend just got upduffed first go and all she was taking was frolic acid. Bitch. Lol.

Where do you get baby aspirin? I've read all sorts about it? But I can't find it? Clearly I'm confused!

Sorry to hear temping hasn't worked for you flirty. I normally prefer the old-fashing DTD as often as possible in the middle of the cycle, but my acupuncturist finds it helpful for the treatments.

Kitty I think you should get back to some dtd action in case your cycles turn out like mine sometimes do where if I have an anovulatory cycle I just carry straight on to the next cycle with no af and ov in that cycle instead. So I might ov on cd 40 or so. My DS was conceived on a cycle like this so I know that at least once I really did ov on the second cycle.

Apologies if I already posted this and you realised the advice wasn't for you. I'm pretty sure I wrote all this out a couple of days ago then my phone helpfully lost the post.

Either way, I know how you're feeling and it sucks. It feels particularly frustrating when you don't even know where you are in your cycle so you don't know what you should be doing to give yourself the best shot.

I don't know Linda - part of me wants to so I know I wasn't imagining the line this morning, other part will only worry if its still super faint. Will go and buy some proper tests tomorrow and test monday. If i can get the fmu out the way I think I'll be able to hold off til monday.
