Sorry about af Mrs. I'm on my 3rd cycle too and haven't had any ov pains at all this month so think it's a no go. Af due in 7 days so I think I'll be joining you on cycle 4! But it is still early days in the whole ttc saga I suppose. Only took 2 cycles with ds and a drunken fumble with hubby (now ex) when we werent even ready to start ttc our dd!!

mrsginger I am sorry AF has reared her unwelcome head. 3 cycles isnt long in medical terms but emotionally (and physically!) we put so much into ttc, it is totally normal to feel awful when AF appears. Take care of yourself, enjoy all things contraband (alcohol, soft cheese, pate etc) for a couple of weeks and then hopefully next month will be your month x

MrsG Yes that dosage sounds ok (though I'm not a doctor!) My Pregnacare have a small dose in and I'm taking 2x50mg. So just over 100mg a day. It says you get tingly limbs or something if you take too much and I haven't had that so hoping I'm ok! Encouraging to read that Treacle got pg with a short-ish LP!

Thanks for the update list kitty - good to see several BFPs this month!

CD3 for me today and had my first acupuncture appointment of the cycle - this one is meant to bring the temperature down in the follicular stage, so will see how it compares to last month's chart!

Talking of acupuncture, I have found it also helps lengthen the LP by 2-3 days, so it might be something to consider MrsG, and sorry AF got you.

I just have a quick question about opks ( never used them before) it says I should test at the same time every day, is it best to do them first thing? as these clear blue ones says that you should not have been to the toilet for at least 4 hours!? and during the day that is never going to happen.

Got a bfn with the FRER this morning, still have a couple of days to see if AF make an appearance. Have a good day lovelies, I'm immersed in all things wedding today, bridesmaid tomorrow & go home for Katy Perry on Saturday so I've got a lot to take my mind of it!

Oh and 50 I was stopping drinks in the afternoon & poas when I got in from work, it's easier than you think (and I go to the toilet a lot!!)

Ahhh, the OPK minefield! 50degrees-if they are the ClearBlue Digi ones, they do recommend to use FMU and for most, that works fine. For me, never got a solid smiley that way.
The only two cycles I got a solid, I noticed in the morning the two lines on the stick were nearly the same shade, so tested again in the afternoon and got a solid smiley.
With all other brands of OPK, it is recommended to test between 11am and 8pm. When AF arrives, I have bought Internet cheapies and intend to test twice, sometimes three times a day, as well as temp chart, in case I am not ovulating since my chemical.

Well AF was due yesterday/today and no sign of yet but another BFN. I have resigned myself to the fact that I am not pregnant. The cramping is still continuing but hoping now that these are AF cramps and it will just appear so we can start afresh.

I am just gutted this was our first time trying after previous loss but i got pregnant first month that time and foolishly thought it would happen again.

I had been usinig the clearblue advanced ovulation test but it is just too expensive so going to try the OPK's- i have a question if you can help please. I know you can't use these first thing in the morning- are they ok to use when i get in from the gym at 7pm. It's not really feasible for me to test at work. Or maybe i should just avoid peeing on anything lol

I am 37 now and very conscious that time is not on my side :-(
