serenity I don't temp myself so I can't be sure but I imagine your temp charts would be out due to the virus. I wouldn't jump to any ideas about not ovulating from this cycle. Hopefully next months will make more sense - or better yet you'll get your bfp this month and not have to worry about it!

So opk's really do detect pregnancy! I thought it was a myth but out of curiosity I p'd on one and got a smiley face

well 11dpo and still a bfn :( but still feeling sick most days, stabbing pains throughout the day and slightly sore nipples. its too early for normal af pains and the stabbing pains are a 1st. so theres still hope i suppose. howz everyone doing today? has it sunk in yet linda

Linda am so happy for you!! And loving all the info you're sharing for the rest of us. How interesting re the OPKs showing pregnancy!! Am intrigued by these softcups... Is the idea that you DTD and then shove one up there to keep it all scooped in close to the coal face?!

Have been having mad dreams this week - then read that could be a SYMPTOM, which has led my mischievous mind to ensure I have one every night now... Caught myself absolutely revelling in my own farting frenzy earlier too, as we all know GAS is a SYMPTOM

Big fat instant dark line on OPK this lunch time. First month using them (only ICs but they seem to be working) and after 3 days of faint lines, finally got a dark one! I was just starting to think that maybe the ICs didn't want to work with my wee...been DTD every other day for the past few days anyway (OH is getting better at his "today might be a good time to be sexy" hints probably because I've given up being subtle and now just show him the wee sticks and tell him that it means we need to have sex . Nowt like being blunt, eh?) but we will be DTD with purpose for the next few days and then I suppose it's the dreaded 2ww.

Trying to keep busy and not count my days 3 dogs in the house and another one on one-to-one daily training are certainly helping. For now I'm doing ok, but I'm likely to turn into a crazy woman again once I'm half way through my 2ww!

Had really sharp what I'm assuming are OV pains on Thursday and Friday, weird AF-like pulling feelings 'downstairs' and I guess a little bit of Lucas, but not as much as I'd hoped I get so excited nowadays when I see Lucas!. If I only got a dark line on my OPK today, but weird pains a few days ago does that mean I'm likely to OV today/in the next 24-48 hours or does it mean it's already happened? Don't suppose it really matter either way come to think of it as we'll be DTD regardless until any form of a second line on my wee stick disappears completely!

Just found this link for baby names that mean "dragon". Was actually googling 'dragon baby grows' when I came across this link and felt like I just had to share it with you lot!

Not sure how you'd explain to said child why you chose their name because it meant Dragon, but I suppose it would be a bridge you'd cross when you got there...

I'm only on cycle 3 spinning and dr google said if your over 35 you should try for 6 months before going to gp. I'm in Scotland and not sure what tests are available....I'm really hoping its a bfp later this week!!

Well af has arrived I feel really down about it this cycle but I'm sure I'll be ok in a couple of days.
Dp and I are away next weekend, I was hoping it would coincide with ov time but I'll be cd8/9, usually get +opk on day 11 so I guess they'll still be some swimmers around if we dtd plenty

Mel I'm not sure how many cycles we've been trying but I had a mc in October, I think we started trying at the end of August! because I got my bfp we know we can do it.....I think I'll get 21 day bloods done, I know they show if you're ovulating which I think I am but do they also tell if your lining is thick enough to carry a pregnancy?

Oh no spinning I'm so sorry huni. Was desperately hoping this was your month. It only tells you if you have ovulated I think. When I asked my doctor about the results yesterday she actually had to look it up in a book cause she didn't know anything about it

That's what I did aswell, was worried about the risks, still am, but she said these days a woman of my age has just as good a chance as someone in their 20's. I honestly can't say it enough now but I think softcups should be on everybody's list of aids to help ttc. They are so easy to put in and take out and comfortable and clearly help

According to my tracker app I'm due to ov tomorrow but bastard sticks aren't showing anything apart froma v v faint line and according to instructions - that's a negativem.
