Hello all! I'm new to MN and to TTC, currently on cycle #2! Question: I have heard a lot about people experiencing ovulation pain and wondered what kind of pain this felt like? Currently getting bad AF like cramps and Definetly not due as only stopped bleeding 2 days ago so it's not that but not due to ovulate for a couple or days (approximate guess as not had enough cycles to be sure yet) so not sure if it is that either and just ovulated early? Having only just started trying not sure what to expect... Any advise please greatly appreciated and Thankyou in advance! Xxx

Mine is like a very sharp, pulsating pain, almost like a stitch you get when you are running. It feels nothing like period cramps to me. It's only ever on one side too (I guess the side which I am ovulating from!) You could always dtd just in case though Wink

Some people don't get ov pains at all, and some probably feel different to others! So as you get used to your cycle you will get used to spotting the signs. Look out for stuff like cervical mucus (yum, I know) which is also a good indicator that you are about to ovulate. Good luck on your ttc journey!
